Contact a spirit and puzzle your way through their story in a unique, seated escape room experience! Calling all ghost hunters! The new owner of the Abercrombie mansion needs your help… Gather your crew, it’s time to perform a seance! After discovering a strange box inside the mansion, the new owner has tasked your team of ghost hunters to make contact with a haunting spirit said to hold the key that unlocks the box. The task is fairly simple, gain the spirit’s trust and get the key. What could possibly go wrong?

What an absolutely awesome room which makes full use of the space you're in. There is so much packed into such a small room and the game definitely benefits from it! Despite sitting for the majority of the game, the puzzle vary so much and you usually know what to work on since there is great feedback when you solve anything. The gamemaster we had was also extremely passionate and we stayed and chatted with him for 40 minutes after our game was done. Do yourself a favour and play this room now!

The best seated experience escape room! Such a unique room with an excellent use of the small space. Not your typical escape room in the sense that the majority of the game is played seated around a table. It's a refreshing change to your typical running around a room looking for clues.

A masterclass in single room escape experiences, ‘Seance’ is all the more impressive when considering the fact that this The Cool Space’s first build. Gorgeous, textured aesthetics surround the table while a wonderful variety of materials are presented within ‘Seance’ to solve a varied collection of puzzles. Having played ‘Seance’ over a year since opening, we benefitted from the continued iterative efforts designers Daniel and Josh pour into the experience. More complex puzzles teach players and allow them to build mastery intuitively. The use of controlled lighting bolsters the experience, helping form a wonderfully different sit-down escape experience.
Puzzles flowed wonderfully from one to the next with clear cluing and signposting.
Gorgeous set.

I've done dozens of escape rooms, but this is one of the greatest rooms I've done. It isn't a simple copy paste of other rooms, it is unique, cleaver and a lot of fun. Thanks to the awesome host Daniel for take us through how the room is done behind the scenes. It's great to talk to hosts who are truely passionate about their craft. Will be attending their next room as soon as it is released. :)

Seance is a game that is simple proof that sometimes less is more. Playing the game almost entirely seated never feels like a hindrance, but instead enhances the room’s vibe and forces you to work together as a team. Any puzzler will love this room, it felt very inspired by puzzle hunts with lots of tabletop work and a great culminating moment at the end. The room’s decor and special effects were also simple yet extremely effective and perfectly executed. This is a hidden gem in Sydney and I’m excited to see what Cool Space does next!
