The unit is tied to a secretive organization known only as C.U.L.T. And you’ve walked straight into the middle of their final ritual. The group believes you are The Chosen—vessels meant to complete a summoning. Our entire experience at Curtain Calls was amazing! The two owners we met were so sweet and we got to geek out over escape rooms we have done. The room itself was really cool! A lot of interesting clues and it was the perfect balance of challenging and logical. We will absolutely be back and will recommend this company and their rooms to anyone asking for a good room to go to in Norfolk/Virginia Beach.

The plot is a lot clearer here on Morty than it was in the game. Oh, so that's what we were doing! A well-executed rendition of the standard "oh wait this is a cult?!" fare. Some good puzzles and some random "isn't this convenient" combo lock solutions. A 90-minute experience, which is rare in this market. You could do it in under an hour if you speed, but we took our time and got out with 15 minutes remaining. A neat surprise at the end of the game where everyone gets to "leave his mark"... Glad I played here - looking forward to Yeti on my next trip through!

The gameplay was amazing! Great story, and very immersive puzzles! Our group was only 2 of us, and we’ve done plenty of escape rooms together and we were able to escape. I think this room is probably suited for 3-4 people instead! This room gives you 90 minutes to escape, and it’s definitely needed. Would definitely recommend!

This room was creepy and challenging - in all the best possible ways! Puzzles were thought provoking and clever, theming throughout the room was spectacular, and the game master was unobtrusive (but gave just enough in a hint to get us moving). We had a fantastic run and succeeded in our escape. Curtain Calls is doing some really fun stuff and you can't go wrong checking out the rooms they have to offer. I can't recommend them enough. Bravo and break a leg!

Definitely a must-try! The crew over at CCX did it again with another outstanding room. Such a great underlying story that keeps you wanting to solve more and more. I give props to the props! They were fantastic. I also really enjoyed the types of clues and puzzles - so creative! With its higher sense of immersion, they hit a home run with this one. Definitely gotta try The Chosen … if you dare!
