But a sudden gust of wind slammed the temple door shut - sealing Tucker and his journal inside and both were never seen again. Now armed with the latest technology, your research points you to the exact whereabouts of the lost journal which holds the secrets to finding the treasure and you’ve brought all the materials essential for your adventure. This room is very well designed. The puzzles fit the theme and were very logical. A couple of the puzzles were a challenge for only two of us to solve and a larger group might have helped. Excellent flow to the room, a bit of a challenge, and highly recommended as our second favorite room at this location (behind Scooby-Doo, and ahead of Narco).

Gameplay

A standard lost treasure room but still a lot of fun with the puzzles all fitting the theme. The gameplay flowed well in this mostly linear room.

Atmosphere

The set design is top notch! The room was clearly not put together in someone's garage (not that there is anything wrong with that). There were some unique special effects, and with enough imagination you can imagine yourself in a real lost city.

Customer service

Shaun was outstanding! She greeted and welcomed us enthusiastically, and got us signed in and started early. Her outstanding attitude contributed to our playing three separate games back-to-back-to-back at this location. We only required one clue during this game and she was very directive explaining what we needed to fix after seeing we'd solved the puzzle but just mixed up two items. She was also helpful answering questions at the end about the game we'd just played.

Particularly interesting or different

No

No, in that we've played similar lost city/lost tomb games, but this was still very fun, well-designed, and executed.

Story

The objectives were clearly laid out at the beginning and we were able to measure our progress against our time remaining in relation to those objectives. The story flowed very well with the puzzles that we were required to solve. Very fun.

Difficulty

Medium

Medium to hard on a couple of the puzzles. The room is rated as 7.5/10 which seems like an accurate assessment. We escaped with two players but could have used one or two more on a couple of the puzzles. Although it is mostly linear there isn't always a clear path as to what to do next. Definitely not a beginner room. Most of the puzzles seemed intermediate with some harder ones thrown in.

Game tech

High tech

Mostly high tech with some mechanical locks thrown in. Excellent design on the integration of the two.

Ideal number of players

4

We played with two. Although it is linear, some of the puzzles may have gone quicker with an extra player or two. And, although it is linear there were a few times that we weren't sure where to go next which an extra player or two may have helped out with.

Scary

Not scary

Minimum age

8

A couple of the puzzles were a little more challenging and < 8 may not grasp or be able to add value to the team effort.

Was anything broken?

No

Very well designed and built!

Live actors

No

Physically active

Somewhat

There was a good amount of space in which to move around.

Accessibility

There may be a slight limitation on movement in a portion of the room, and lighting was a little low at times (although we were encouraged to turn on light switches if needed). Sound was good, but the height of a puzzle or two might limit accessibility.

Easy to find location

Yes

Excellent directions on the website.

Parking

Easy

Excellent directions on the website to get to the correct parking garage with a reminder to carry your ticket for up to a 2-hour validation.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the design, logical puzzles, and overall flow of the room. You’re absolutely right — some puzzles can be more fun (and a bit easier) with a larger group, so we appreciate you pointing that out for future players. It’s also awesome to hear this room ranks so highly for you, especially alongside favorites like Scooby-Doo and Narco! We truly appreciate the recommendation and can’t wait to welcome you back for another adventure.

I am biased because I actually got engaged in this escape room, but OBJECTIVELY it was an excellent room - great story, good flow, fun puzzles. On the easier side, we flew through in approx 30 min (experienced players and newbies mixed)
