Walking in we got the feel of an apartment set in the early part of the 1900's. We were given instruction that we needed to find evidence that the famed mobster Al Capone was running a bootleg outfit. Our role, we were detectives and only had an hour to get the evidence.
Our group was able to shift through the belongings in this old apartment. The majority of our search was to find keys or combinations to open locks. At first, we had a few keys and had a hard time matching them with the locks. The game was mostly linear. Which in this case wasn't bad exactly. The placement of locks and clues did keep us busy until everything started to fall into place.
Multiple puzzles were physical. There was a decent blend of tech mixed into the room to not make it boring and keep a few things fresh. There were some interesting surprises in room design and clue distribution. Our party of four were able to search the room independently and in small groups to get what we needed to progress.
We were a little stumped near the end. But we will admit we did have to guess solve the last lock to make it out in time. Overall it was our first experience at this location and we would like to go back and see what other challenges we could face there.
I really liked the design and decoration of the room. It fit well and was immersive.
The room was designed well, it worked very well with the whole feel of the room.
The GM was very kind and helpful in explaining the room rules.

The storyline was very direct and the puzzles were in the same line with the theme.
In areas of puzzle solving, we did find a couple of red herrings. and looking for keys we had a little difficulty due to low lighting. There was an audio clue that was hard to share with the group due to only one person was able to hear the clue.
There were a lot of items being triggered in the room by solving some puzzles. The key and combination search overweighed the tech.
There seems to be just enough room in space and gameplay.
The theme has a bit of a mysterious vibe to it. The ambiance was great.
I brought it up to a somewhat higher age only due to the content of liquor and weapons were involved in he storyline.
Physically active
Somewhat
There was a little bit of bending. Most items are usually found between waist and eye level.
Accessibility
This room seemed pretty open and not too tight of an era.
Found it no problem using GPS
The attraction is located in a miny mall so it shares a very large parking lot with other stores.
