Humble, low budget, and not a bad game to play, but also nothing to really recommend. The weirdest part of all of this has to be the story. We actually played it because the byline seemed so weird and nonsensical that we just had to see for ourselves how strange it actually was. The writeup actually makes more sense than the actual game and its video introduction.
Playing it feels like someone had a lot of elements that didnβt get developed properly, and it ended up a bizarre, quarter-baked, completely confused mess thatβs vague, but doesnβt seem intentional either. This one desperately needs some narrative tidying and a tighter focus, because nothing is cohesive at all. This is really important because it would actually help the flow of the gameplay as well.
Puzzles are also pretty strange to get going, as the context isnβt entirely clear, but if youβve played a lot of escape rooms, you can pretty much figure out the kinds of puzzles and how to solve them, even without the necessary context to figure out what and why you should be doing anything. Granted, again, we didnβt hate the room, and had a fine enough time with it for the duration. However I canβt really recommend this one unless youβre in the area and you tend enjoy your curiosity getting the better of you.
