The Lab

Dr. Lindberg has developed a vaccine against the deadly virus that’s been spreading. However, after trying to sell the vaccine on the black market, he was dismissed—but unfortunately, not before he activated a self-destruction countdown on the formula: 60 minutes. The message is clear—save the vaccine formula before it’s destroyed. We start out in Dr. Lindberg’s office. There aren’t many items, and not much can be moved. It seems simple and linear at first, but after the first few puzzles, the room becomes multi-linear, and everyone is engaged. It actually worked really well to have the whole team focus on the first steps together and then split up afterward. We were three people in the room, and there was plenty to do. It’s perhaps a bit of a shame that the room is called The Lab, because there’s more to it than just a laboratory. In terms of design, the room is quite simple, but the puzzles have multiple layers and fit the theme well. We even encountered a completely new type of puzzle—and that’s always fun!
