The Wizard

My previous experience with this place was amazing. The person who did our room last time was great and helped the room. Gave us hints even when we were out of them and let the room guide us for the most part. I forget the names of who helped us tonight. I think it was Keekee or something. Went to play the wizard one there just the other night 8/2 and when I entered the place I got greeted with looks and not a hello. When asking about the room they laughed at us with questions (after we paid) and then I asked about clues and how many we get. They limited us to 3 and "gave us free one" by coming in and solving it for us.... Not coaching us at all. When going through the room a lot of the things were broken or worn down to the point it did not work properly. Very underwhelming end to the wizard as it's just a green laser (which we did not know was the end) and then no one came in. We got the laser and time kept going. Very disappointing. Go to the mystery mansion instead. When bringing up this escape room to the mystery mansion they were not surprised and heard all the complains we had from other sources.

Don’t go here. Just don’t. The staff are nice enough but they explained three puzzles to us when we stepped in the room. The puzzles had no plot, and the rip-off Harry Potter IP was really bad. Also exposed wires and non-puzzle elements EVERYWHERE. Puzzles were hidden in things like plan PVC pipe. It was just confusing and like… a bajillion degrees in there. Yikes.

This room hasn’t been open long enough to look as dilapidated as it does. Really? Taping a blanket on a wall is not good decor. And the blatant Harry Potter IP rip offs don’t make sense when you don’t even try and have a story line. This is by far the worst experience I have ever done.

This room is very worn and honestly, just not very fun. There were points where I was actually bored doing the room. There were “puzzles” that gave no indication of what you were supposed to do.

I think at one time this was a pretty decent single room, but Until you see a comment saying they’ve fixed all the issues, I’d probably just skip it. I had planned to myself after seeing the other comment about broken things, but at least I knew to expect it.

Room itself was a fun theme I liked the styling of the room. However that was ab where the nice stopped the room was not very well cared for with several parts of the room being broken the puzzle portions did technically work but not well and all in all portions of the room made very little sense. Absolutely loved the idea of the room however it needs a lot of tlc and a couple puzzles need to be rethought (smelling objects does not make for a good puzzle if the smells are all similar).
