The old tavern room will surely take you back into the medieval period! You need to find an antidote while you are in your senses! Can you solve the mystery in here?

One decent sized room, with thoughtfully clued puzzles and fun solves. Uses all you senses and made great use of music and audio to set the scene and raise tension.
Very impressive in the way they manage to clue so many padlocks. There was one puzzle where it didn't feel like something you "should" do but that made it so much fun.

Rating: 3/5 - Single room, very Gen 1, but still fun Pros: ➕Set looked great, it was decorated floor to ceiling to fit the theme ➕Good variety of puzzles of different types, they were enjoyable ➕Non-linear gameplay, so you can split up ➕Some tactile puzzles and use of various senses Room for improvement: ➖Only a single room ➖Almost all padlocks with a very minimal amount of tech, I'm not a fan of having to solve multiple locks just to open a single object. There were also a lot of locks of the same type, so you had to try 4 digit numbers on multiple locks before you found the right one. ➖One puzzle was a not intuitive, there was little to no cluing on where to activate it. I ended up trying things randomly and actually did the correct thing but it didn't seem to trigger so we didn't even know we solved it and had to ask for a hint. I'd recommend 2-4 enthusiasts. My ranking of the 3 rooms here starting with my favorite: 1. Salvation Reactor 2. Prison Escape 3. Old Tavern

This is a “gen 1” room with locks galore. I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I did. It’s one of those early rooms with puzzles that are cool enough to where you can forgive the setting/immersion.

There were some fun and unique puzzles in this room! Unfortunately the audio was not working the best when we were there so it was hard to hear certain aspects of the room, from the opening video to knowing when clues were provided, etc.
This was a very ebb and flow like game.

We couldn't hear the opening video well enough to fully understand the story line.

I loved the atmosphere and set design in this location, and to date it still has some of the more innovative puzzles I've come across

Fun! I especially enjoyed all the sensory interactions in this room! Pretty innovative and really made us think with more than our eyes to solve all the puzzles. I didn’t like that there were a LOT of the same kind of lock. Every time we got a combination code, we had to put it in a bunch of locks and hope one of them was correct. Prepare to open lots of things here. Still a delightful time with a nice atmospheric set!
