This one and Down the Rabbit Hole are killing me because they have sososoooo much potential. They both are in desperate need of refurbishing/cleaning/repainting/fixing up. The ending sequence on this room is what makes it still a like for me. That part of the room was well thought out and exciting. Transitions between most rooms were pretty cool as well. But there are many things, especially in this room, that did not feel well thought out. There are ...suprises....that happen during the game. One of which happened when I was holding something glass and I almost dropped it. If you are going to use jump scares, please please please do not put them in when someone is going to be holding something fragile. Our GM then came on frustrated that we were touching the glass bottles, but literally an essential clue was with them...so that's just not possible. Some bottles had liquid that had leaked and left our hands kind of oily/ the room felt dirty. Additionally, there is a puzzle towards the end that relies heavily on magnets but they were mostly peeled off from the base and precariously dangling when we put them in their spots. It definitely felt like a room where everything was already 90% broken. Something did not trigger, but our GM came overhead and told us it was kinda glitchy so just to wiggle it in those spots some more. If you know something is glitchy...fix it. So many interuptions/breaking immersion that I was unable to fully get into this game. One last critique is the endless searching in room 1...you have no idea how much of that thing you are looking for and so every time you find another, you retry the lock over and over again. This needs to have some sort of cap, maybe put the total amount you are looking for without how its divided. This was the first experience I've had where the GM was a make or break experience, we just really did not click with this GM. She seemed pretty disinterested in the whole thing and I gathered that the owners weren't really present. I hate to be so critical, especially when there is potential, but I just couldn't get over some pretty major things.
