This room did not disappoint me, which has become quite uncommon. The puzzles made sense while fitting the theme, functioned properly and nothing in the room left us saying "well that was complete nonsensical and a stretch"- while also not being obvious. Overall a very satisfying experience that had us talking about how soon we can make their other room.
Everything fit together and belonged, it felt like the space was built for this, not that they crammed a game into an existing space.
Kind, welcoming and the right amount of chatty and patient.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
It was a successful take on a general "magician" theme that is done often, yet did not feel like a copy.
Plot itself wasn't unheard of, but absolutely was well integrated.
We had to think and had moments where we knew we needed to reflect on clues, but it wasn't the sort of hard where we felt like there was no way to solve things without reading the designer's mind. I'm not sure it could have been more difficult without depending on cruel tricks, so I'm glad they did not go there. This was the pleasing, satisfying type of difficult.
There was tech used, but this room seems unlikely to malfunction often as it's hardier, more basic tech.
We had 4 and it was great, I think you NEED 3, but otherwise personal call.
Our 14 year old was helping. I can't recall anything inappropriate for any age, but might take enough thought and attention to detail that I would guess you'd want to be around 11+ for a typical child if they are into puzzles. Height might become an issue for a couple spots under around 9ish.
All functioned as intended.

Accessibility
Would have spots too tight for a wheelchair.
Anosmia did not affect this room. Someone with hearing is required. Someone not color blind is required.
