Jurásico [Jurassic]

Set design was AWESOME!! So many rooms and areas to go to. The puzzles themselves were alright- we struggled, but that may have been because of a mild language barrier.

Jurasico might be the most visually ambitious escape room I've ever stood inside. The scale is staggering, the atmosphere is deeply cinematic, and there are several sequences that genuinely feel like being inside a blockbuster film. If you're chasing pure spectacle, this delivers. The puzzle design doesn't always match the production quality — a few choices feel underdeveloped for a room this large — and one late-game hint communication breakdown frustrated us significantly. But when it works, it really works. Also: you will get muddy.

9/10 There seems to be a comparison amongst Jurassic and K.O.N.G Protocol. In K.O.N.G I would say to myself, “I can’t believe I’m doing this!” In Jurassic I was constantly saying, “How the hell did THEY do this!?!” The environment will be the most realistic escape room set design you will ever come across within the confines of a building. Bring clothes you don’t mind ruining because you WILL ABSOLUTELY GET MUDDY. Not dusty, not dirty, MUD. That’s right, dirt mixed with water. The puzzles are not necessarily difficult or that great, the story is basic, but that’s not why we are here, we are here for the dinosaurs! We are here for Jurassic Park. And Jurassic Park is exactly what you get. This is a fantastic game and is an absolute must on anyone’s to-do list.

Did I like Jurasico? Yes, I did, but I didn’t love it as much as I had hoped. As with the other sets at Golden Pop, it feels a bit «escape-roomy». Not that I need a movie like set for all my games at all, it’s just some building styles that feels more «this is an escape room» than others. The exploration is fun, and there are some wow moments. We had a pretty frustrating moment early on that I am a bit unsure why was designed that way, but other than that, it had mostly a good puzzle flow. Our GM was amazing.

The atmosphere and theming of Jurasico is amazing! We had such a fun time from start to finish, it really felt like we were in a film! The puzzles varied in difficulty. Sometimes we were a bit confused about what happened after a solve but it didn’t really take away from the experience. Fans of Jurassic Park will love the nods to the original film!

Jurassic excelled in over the top transitions and cinematics, rightfully so. It was a joy to experience. Lots of fun wow moments and large set pieces to admire. The game flowed exceptionally well and felt especially real, as though we had stepped back into a different world.

What they have built is quite impressive, and I felt like I was in a movie. The environment is quite authentic (and a little messy, in a good way). The audio was way too loud in parts (I wish I had brought my ear plugs), and it made it difficult to hear some of the audio.

This is a great experience with lots of puzzles in the theme of the first 1993 movie Jurassic park. The set design is great and our game master was excellent. Take the time to observe around you: this is not our strength.

joy and wonder matter. And few games understand this better than Jurasico. It’s playful, cinematic, and genuinely surprising. And I LOVED the way they did the dinosaurs. Also one of the best post game photos, not only because of the background but because the GM understood where players should stand in order to get the best lighting and framing, and also understood the best angle to take the photo from. Almost every game could learn something from this post game photo. (out of all the games I played, friends most often said this was the game they wanted to play, just because of the photo)

You don’t have to be a fan of the movie to love this. Our GM Xavi was outstanding in his various roles and the set design was on another level. Absolutely blown away by this room with the only minor negative being a slight difficulty hearing the clues One tip, wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and dirty!
