7/10 To be brutally honest with you, everything that Metanoia offers, Amen gives you, but much MUCH better. The room layout doesn’t really work, the puzzles are clunky and poorly connected. The story isn’t very clear, the sound system is deafening is some parts of the rooms and nonexistent in others. Your hand is going to be held by the game master explaining how to accomplish confusing tasks and some cinematics are in such small spaces that only one or two members of your group will be able to see what’s happening. If you have the time and money, sure it’s worth a play. But playing Amen will give you everything this room has to offer, yet so much more.

When entering, kindly close the door behind you. The door does not automatically close. The game starts immediately. If a different group pokes their head in after you, they could see a spoiler, and throw off the staff. This was the loudest game during our trip. Perhaps let them know prior to the game your volume preference. Although, I do not think that the volume can be adjusted considerably in this game at this time. They are in the process of finding a solution. Some like to bring ear protection, such as ear plugs. Metanoia & Amen can be played in any order. Some say that Metanoia is the sequel, but it’s fine to play them in any order. You are meant to receive the entire story once you’ve played both games.

A highly regarded game but we didnt get it. The set looked average, it had some good scares, some okay cinematics, some puzzles werent very logic. We left dissapointed. So maybe temper your expectations
