Really fun theming aspects and creative transitions. Did this with my husband and we both really enjoyed it.

More than two people would probably make it harder to communicate, especially since the puzzles benefit from communication and collaboration. Also might be more cramped with more than 2

This room is such a vibe for me! Absolutely in love with the vintage set and atmosphere. Great props with clever mechanics that add so much to the experience and immersion. Puzzles all connected to the storyline and flows well. It is narrative based which guides you smoothly and adds humour as well. Completely English friendly with all audio and clues in English. Another banger room from Studio Escape which leaves me such a huge impression! Absolutely love our GM and the bar at the end!

We had the lowest expectations for this one out of all of Studio Escape’s rooms because it’s their oldest game, but boy were those expectations blown out of the water! The Dame and the Diamond turned out to be absolutely magnificent. It felt like we were the stars of a film noir plot, full of twists, turns, witty humour, and multiple magical moments. Once again, the storytelling is sublime, atmospheric and immersive, and the props have the most amazing cinematic aesthetics and attention to detail. The great thing about Studio Escape’s rooms is that they’re all so different and unique in their own ways. Playing all three available rooms (Shadow Zen is still being repaired as at this date) in one day didn’t feel tedious or repetitive at all. In fact, we’d do more if we could! A must visit for any escape room enthusiasts visiting Osaka.

As the owners are originally from UK, the rooms are catered for both Japanese and English language, and it is smooth. The hosts are great and very helpful. This room and all the other rooms within Studio Escape are one of the best I've ever played. The stories are compelling, and the decoration are top class. The price of the rooms are high, but these rooms still gets my highest recommendation!

‘The Dame & the Diamond’ is a rare escape room experience that truly rewards players for taking the time to explore every prop, set piece and text within its wonderfully immersive collection of ‘40s Chicago rooms. From the peeling wallpapers of a private detective office to an ostentatious chandelier, Studio Escape has built gorgeous sets to house something special. The narrator follows players as they play, helping ground each action in the narrative as it advances. It’s wickedly funny, and the humour can be found across most of their rooms. Many texts have Easter egg references to their other experiences, or are tongue-in-cheek digs at the now antiquated values and mentality and of the time period. This encourages players to read and see everything. There are tricks, surprises and classic noir twists and turns. Buckle in, ‘The Dame & the Diamond’ is a sure delight.

The unique pieces in this game made ‘The Dame & the Diamond’ stand out amongst all of the games we’ve played to date. It’s a stunning experience!

Studio Escape is one of the best Creator for Escape Rooms. I recommend this room for English speaker. Unfortunatly, Japan's Escape Rooms are required you the skill of Japanese and Deep understanding of Japanese culture. We usually refer to escape rooms that also require Japanese language skills as escape rooms, and overseas those that only have physical gimmicks as the main feature are sometimes called Shanghai type.

Well dang schweetheart, I’ll tell ya color me impressed. Taking on the role of a (pretty terrible) private investigator, we travelled through this lovingly crafted game enjoying absolutely every second. What the crew at Studio Escape have created is truly something special. The mix of puzzles, signposting, humour, storyline and set design is something out of an enthusiasts dream. Everything made sense, the flow was immaculate, fun reveals and funny moments to be had around every twist and turn. I honestly don’t have a single knock on this room, it blew me out of the water. They also apparently allow longer than the hour time-slot if necessary, prioritising customer experience over amount of games throughout the day. Z was a ripper Game Master and was happy to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot), one of the best overall experiences I’ve had in an escape room.
