A good escape room doesn’t necessarily have to be innovative to be great. Infirmary is a fun, unpretentious game that takes a simple yet effective approach to game design. Set in a beautifully grotesque hospital, the set is carefully designed and a joy to inhabit. The puzzles solve cleanly and play well, minus an otherwise brilliant puzzle crammed into an awkward location. Infirmary takes the classic escape room formula and elevates it with unique moments.
Classic escape room gameplay with a twist, with several unique interactions that I will never forget.
Beside some small details, this is a gritty and well-done depiction of an abandoned hospital.
Particularly interesting or different

Many novel interactions you won’t see anywhere else.
Unique story, but beyond a few passing references the game doesn’t really focus on it.
Sometimes borders on hard, but is mostly accessible.
Somewhere in the middle, but the tech interactions are really cool.
It’s creepy and occasionally gory, but it’s also well lit and contains very few scares.
