Budapest Express

Tried this escape room recently and found it pretty underwhelming. Most of the puzzles felt generic—stuff you’ve likely seen in plenty of other rooms. The theme and atmosphere were fine, but nothing particularly immersive or memorable. We were given a tip at the beginning not to move items from where we found them—and honestly, that ended up being very important. It felt like a bit of a design flaw, since there wasn’t a natural way to figure that out within the room. Without that heads-up, the final puzzle would’ve been way more confusing than fun. Overall, it was okay, but definitely not one I’d rush to recommend.

One of our favorite escape rooms we’ve done! So much attention was given to the theming that it really felt like we were on a high class sleeper train. In particular, my husband and I enjoyed the detective element of this escape room. There’s a lot of clue finding and scavenging!
