I feel very compelled to call this room a work of art. A stellar set design paired with a very unique set of puzzles that incorporate elements I've never seen before in almost 40 escape rooms complement each other very well, and the way the room interacts with you is also spectacular. The room isn't without its difficult moments, but it's a satisfying solve that I recommend to all Saw and escape room fans.
The game masters here seem to be a mixed bag. While I've had excellent game masters who truly seem to love what they do in the past, our game master for this room didn't seem as interested in it and made no effort to explain the rest of the room to us - which wasn't really that much.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Although I've seen interactive elements in other escape rooms, none of them work quite like this. It really adds to the immersion and fear "factor", if you will. For having played almost 40 escape rooms, it also has an incredible amount of unique puzzles and props - some of which I've genuinely never seen before.
Our group steamrolled through their Submarine room, which is dubbed to be their hardest, but didn't make it out of this one by multiple steps. Some of this was admittedly out of nervous apprehension to explore.
This room has a great blend of technical elements and mechanical features.
Without giving too much away, there are multiple points in the game where your group will be in lots of different places.
There are two half decent jumpscares and some pretty detailed props like you would find in your average Saw film. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but probably less scary than their Cabin in the Woods room since it is much more well-lit.
If you wouldn't let your kids watch the movies, I wouldn't let them do the room.
Physically active
Somewhat
Outside of the typical bending down to pick things up, there is also a point in which one player needs to crawl into a tight space and find clues.
Accessibility
The room does require a flight of stairs to be taken, and there is one puzzle that requires color recognition.
