Just last year, on 21st November 2179, Captain Leyla Sánchez and the crew of the UCS Hammer displayed admirable bravery above and beyond that expected of an officer of the UCN. Their ship already damaged by an enemy ambush, they refused to return to base as this would have left an unarmed UCTCN cargo vessel alone and unprotected. Using evasive manoeuvres and pinpoint accurate strikes from all weapon systems, the Hammer destroyed three enemy craft and forced the withdrawal of a much larger enemy force when Captain Sánchez threatened to make use of the Hammer's nuclear warheads. Thanks to their courage and quick-thinking, vital resources and more than 300 civilian lives were preserved and safely delivered to UCTCN space station Aphrodite. Captain Sánchez and their officers were all awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for their actions.

10/10 for theming and immersive atmosphere. The ‘ships’ are superbly realised. What this lacks is some good old fashioned escape room type puzzles for those who aren’t interested in the (very impressive) touchscreen simulation to be involved with. It means as others have said that half the time is spent explaining the tech, making the actual game seem very short with some players having little to do. One relatively simple change could be to have the actors play the captains, as the instructions could happen as you go and it means more of a rapport as that person could assign roles to players in a humorous way. The captain would also know the gameplay and steer this. You could even choose your ship based on the personality of the captain. It was hard I think for the players to pick their crew roles as we didn’t know what it involved. If you have someone whose job is to bark orders then you would just go with it. Building a free drink into the price means more people are likely to use the impressive bar area and the addition of snacks like nachos would be welcome. Despite all this we had a great time as we were in a small group, but the above is our collective feedback.

This isn’t an escape room - there are no puzzles. I’d describe it as a chamber LARP or possibly a small mega game. There are lots of different discreet game systems all being played by one person each at the same time.

Great set, really impressive with full immersion and outfits, live actors. Fun different missions. Very accessible in all parts, including being the captain.

Set is lovely. Onboarding took over an hour. Game was chaotic in an un-fun way. Basically the bridge simulator part of the experience is not approachable to people off the street. No drama or real storytelling despite the presence of professional actors.
