Revenge on the Bayou

We had a great time with this escape room! From the set design, the storyline, and the complex mixture of puzzles, we had to really communicate, look at the finer details, and practice our teamwork skills. This is a puzzle heavy room with different moving parts to it, and it’s a great escape room for medium to advanced skills. What I loved best about this escape room was its set design because it truly immerses you into the story of The Revenge on the Bayou, and is relevant to its theming from New Orleans (voodoo, eeriness, and mystery). Overall, a very interactive and puzzle heavy room! Ideally, 2-3 experienced players, 4+ for first timers/medium skilled due to the complexity of puzzles and moving pieces needed to solve the room.

Towards the end there is a puzzle that is not very intuitive. We knew what we were looking for but the clues were too ambiguous and we have done a LOT of escape rooms. Everything leading up to it was very good but I could see a lot of groups getting stuck right before the end

Great immersion, set design and props. LOTS to do in this room with nice mix of puzzle difficulty. We had a great time.

Another fun game. Lots of puzzles to solve, things to discover, and more to uncover. Some really fun elements made for a great set design and unique experience.

Place has really cool and well themed rooms. Placed twice there and failed both times on the final puzzle, stated had no issues with gamemaster helping us thru to get the W. Game master was very nice but would have liked more help to get us thru esp being on the final puzzle or maybe a couple extra minutes.

This was a really pleasant surprise. After doing a bunch of rooms at 13th Gate, I was trying to mentally prepare myself to be let down. Of course the set was not some epic grand design, but they still captured the swamp shack on the bayou perfectly. The puzzles were intuitive with a really nice flow to them. The Voodoo storyline was solid and you really got a sense of accomplishment with the ending. This was the only game we played at Clue Carré, but will definitely plan to check out the rest the next time we're back in New Orleans. I definitely recommend doing this room if you are in town.

This was the only room we played at this location. It was great. The theming and set design was great. It had combo locks, but also had some puzzles that involved tech in the room. The story was great and fit the vibe of New Orleans. The game master was attentive for clues and welcoming when we arrived. We chose to play this room based on the reviews for it and the other rooms at this location. We had a great time and would recommend this one.

This was the second room we did at Clue Carre because the first one was so fantastic. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, the puzzles, and the GMs. This one had some styles of clues we have never experienced before and it was creative and fun.

Wish the rooms were a little bigger, it can get cramped a bit. The story was exciting and challenging though!
