Lilith

After a pretty fun time at CipherX’s Coquitlam location I was fairly let down by the two rooms I did here in Delta (Pirates and Lilith). Both had broken props that were still in the room (but taken out of the puzzles you had to complete), and finicky props (where multiple hints used to confirm that something was being done correctly). Specifically to Lilith, this in general is a fairly difficult room. Some in part due to tricky puzzles or discerning between a lot of props in terms of what is useful, which I liked. I also really liked the setting, it genuinely is fairly creepy and the voice acting at points gave me a few shivers! However along with the broken props, I’m really not a fan of keys/clues being hidden in the props and furniture that appear like you need to take apart a prop without being told you need to. I like to be respectful of props so I’m extra careful and it’s annoying when the solution is something like this (again without proper signposting). This room had two-ish parts like this. And is the main reason didn’t get out in time. So overall I was just offput from doing any other rooms here.go to Coquitlam if you wanted to do some CipherX rooms as it seems like there’s a lot less wear and tear. Also bring a flash light if you are going to do this room, there’s a lot of small precise diagrams/images to look at in dark/flashing light spaces.
