Do try to stay calm... fear will only spoil the meat. A trail less travelled to a beautiful vista, all thanks to the impromptu conversation with that friendly bearded fellow at the trailhead. The descent was slow and a bit treacherous. Then it happened: a trap line, a flurry of action, and darkness. You wake up on the floor of an old cabin to the sound of heavy footsteps. A tap... tap... tap... on the window draws your attention to a burly figure standing outside. "Do try to stay calm" he says with a grin, "fear will only spoil the meat."

🫎📻🦉 I had a freaking BLAST in The Woodsman. Campy-spooky, immersive, dare I say cozy! (Me describing any escape room with a woodsy aesthetic, lol). A fun story that keeps you on track plus a great variety of medium to hard puzzles, many of which I hadn’t seen done before- always amazed when I’m able to say that. Bring your smart friends! This is the second room I did at Escape City during my trip and both were fantastic. Definitely a top-tier escape company. I’ll be back! Thank you so much to the amazing staff at ECC for letting me be a lunatic and try this room by myself while I was here in Calgary on a solo trip. I booked for end of night and they were very generous in giving me extra time so I could finish (even after the zillion hints I used). Shoutout to Winnie!! 🍹 bonus: licensed facility that lets you bring drinks into the room!

Wow, wow, wow, what a great game. One of the best in Calgary if not THE best. The puzzles are amazing, they are original, well thought and fun to do. The set design is beautifully made for just a cabin. The intro is well done and the story makes sense with the puzzles. You really get a high tier escape game for the price. I highly recommend this game and this company. This game should have a lot more ❤️ ratings imo.
