I like the first one better. I wish they had come up with an original idea instead of making a sub par sequel.

This is a part 2 to a room I loved and is well reviewed through the community so to say this room was a disappointing follow-up would be an understatement. The rules of escape rooms never to break anything and even the own GM’s one time use mention was broken multiple times as one key object is used many times. Also many areas are under developed, completely underclued, a massive jump from logic and would require either a hint or a wild guess. Other areas including a very important combo lock near the end was so poorly lit a cell phone light was needed which took me out of the experience. This room is pretty and well designed visually at least in the first half (the second half gets a bit lazy and rushed) but the flow and clues are very tough. 5 is the ideal number for the room but most of the time people will be standing around doing next to nothing as the max amount of people doing any work is 2, maybe 3. The rest are searching for random markers and meanings of the poorly written clues. Do part one and skip part two.

This is not an ADA compatible game. The entire back half of the game happens up stairs and in areas where someone who who is mobility impaired or color blind would struggle in.

I wasn’t a fan of this game, which we played immediately after “part one” of the Escobar series. Several puzzles were clunky and underclued. Others were just … implausible. There are a couple of good ones and some clever effects. The set design is very good in the opening area, and similar to the first room, seems a bit lazy in the back half. I give the designers credit for trying to faithfully recreate the story of Pablo Escobar’s end, but for me this room was more of a miss than a hit. If you play it after part one at least you’ll get the whole story, but if you just play part one and skip this, you’re not missing much.
The set design (the exterior alley in particular) is quite good. They went to great lengths to recreate the circumstances surrounding Pablo Escobar’s life and death.

A bit crowded with 4. You do need at least 2 as you will split up at one point.
Not scary
Drugs, butchered animals, and lots of sounds of gunfire (and a suggestion of torture, albeit nothing too explicit).

It’s a game about a drug lord.

You do have to climb and crawl.
Not accessible. All the gameplay spaces are small. Part of the game is on a second story. Someone will also have to crawl.

Escobar Part 2 is the sequel to the award-winning Escobar at this location. You do not have to play Escobar to enjoy Escobar Part 2 but if you're a big fan of the real-life drug lord, I would recommend both. If you had to choose between Escobar and Escobar Part 2, I would choose Escobar. Right when you walk in, you'll be impressed by how spacious the room looks. They leverage vertical alignment to make it feel like you're in a much bigger space. The hands-on puzzles are more hands-on than I'm sure most people are used to, and there is a script that the game master follows, so there's a lot more interaction there. We had a group of four and we had a great time but be prepared to run around because there's a lot of looking around for things versus puzzles. I recommended to them that they should have some supports for what could be a physically strenuous portion towards the end. We made it to the Leaderboard on this one but everyone on that leader board asked for at least one hint, which I think is because of the scavenger hunt.

The set is stunning. You will find it beautiful and fun. The puzzles are lacking and it feels very “put this here” but also the first puzzle is challenging and multilayered and I don’t know… I guess for the price I wanted more puzzles. I would say there’s maybe 13 puzzles in the entire experience. Again, the set is stunning and the room is fun and you should absolutely play it, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Escobar (the original).

Escobar Part 2 is a sequel to the first Escobar room at this location. It continues the story of the real-life drug lord Pablo Escobar and reveals what happened after the first one. You don’t have to play the previous one to do this one, but I think you should anyway because the first one is better and if you could only do one, it should be that one. The sequel is still great, just in different ways. Part 2 features similar verticality to the 1st one. The set looks big, but I’m pretty sure it’s a lot smaller. It features more thrilling suspenseful events though, and it played out like scripted scenes that you must follow to escape covertly. There are surprising hands-on puzzles, and the finale is very exiting. However, a big part of the game is searching for things that is tedious and not well-telegraphed. There are moments where I don’t see how anyone could get the flow without hints. And in fact, there are parts of the room that are like guided tours from the GM. It’s not scary, but there are parts that might trigger some people, so it is definitely a room for adults. That all said, this is still a great room and a worthy one to do if you enjoyed part 1. We did them both in a row and thoroughly enjoyed the Escobar saga!

This game was honestly very disappointing. We’ve done all of the other rooms at this location and loved them, but this one did not compare. It was more of a scavenger hunt of trying to find random items vs being a puzzle-forward room. Even the game master agreed that the few puzzles that WERE there weren’t very intuitive. The leaderboard said that no group had escaped without at least one hint, and I think that’s very telling.

I loooooove the quality of this escape room company. Great smart puzzles! Great set design! Great atmosphere! Definitely amazing. I liked it more than the part 1 of the story. The only negative is that is very expensive, they used to give you a soda after you done the rooms but it seems that they cut out that. It was justifying the price somehow. Also, the limitation of parking in the area can cause delays for some of the players. One of the players delayed five minutes and they cut 10 minutes from our time and which caused unnecessary anxiety in the game because we were always feeling that we were running behind time. We managed to escape but it was very stressful. So take extra time to get there because parking is not the best and it seems the company doesn’t provide any grace period. But we totally recommend it! It’s one of these escape rooms that you wish to never end! ♥️🙌
They were very strict with time, one of the players was 5min late because couldn’t find parking and they took 10min from our time. That caused unnecessary anxiety because we thought we were not gonna make it on time. Also is a very expensive room and the time that was cut out was making us feel uncomfortable and asked twice for hints when because we thought we were running out of time.
