I loved the environment for this room! The set was incredibly impressive and immersive. That being said, the puzzles were not my favorite. Even though this room is mostly linear, it wasnβt always obvious what puzzles came next and there was an excess use of hieroglyphics which felt more tedious than exciting.
I would definitely recommend this room (I adored the set!) but acknowledge that it was not my favorite room at this location.
The puzzles themselves are the only reason I would give this room a like instead of a love. I know that this was an ancient Egypt theme but there was an excess use of hieroglyphics in my opinion. It was also difficult to ascertain what puzzles came next at some points in the game even though it was pretty linear.
The environment was incredibly immersive and impressive. I love the set design and definitely felt as if I was in a real tomb!
My only complaint about the set design is that there is one section where crawling is necessary to access a room that you go back and forth in between. This meant that there was a lot of crawling back and forth and that was uncomfortable for some members of our party (although it was well padded).
All the staff members were super welcoming!
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
The set design made this room really unique! There are parts of this room that I will remember for a long time.
The story was well integrated and made sense!
There were a lot of things to do in this escape room and they werenβt all obviously connected. Individual puzzles were not necessary difficult but they were a little bit tedious.
This is one of the two games at lock, clock, and peril that doesnβt have any physical locks.
This room is pretty linear so a large group isnβt necessary but this room could accommodate up to 6 people.
All rooms at lock, clock, and peril include minor jump scares but are not intended to be scary.
While the set would be very impressive for younger visitors, the puzzles would be too difficult.
Physically active
Somewhat
Crawling, climbing stairs, and sliding are required of all members of the party.
Accessibility
Since crawling, climbing stairs, and sliding are required of all members of the party, I would not recommend this room for people with mobility restrictions. Some puzzles included color.
