Good room. Lots to do in parallel, so it can accommodate larger groups, though a small group works just fine. Varied puzzles, all fun. Immersive environment. One area for improvement -- there were a couple of spots of mild technical difficulties (think along the lines of something that's supposed to easily open but was a little stuck), but that can be easily fixed for future groups.

Loved this room! Definitely my Favorite at room escapers, and one of my faves overall. The flow was great, the puzzles were fun, the set was very cool, and GM Jake is the best.

This room was an unusual take on escape rooms. There was a *lot* of background material (in the lobby before the game, and on a wall as soon as you walk in) that the GM warned us was there just for flavor and was not a puzzle. There were some elements that turned out to be easter eggs based on the historical inspiration for the game. Gameplay was closer to minipuzzles - lots of parallelizable threads where players are looking to check things off a list, which was an interesting (but IMHO unnecessary) mechanic. I suppose it might help teams who don't finish everything feel like they still made progress. It also meant there wasn't a satisfying finale, we just suddenly ran out of things to do. Some puzzles were a little janky - one object needed to be used twice, but this wasn't clued at all. There was one picture that looked like it should be a puzzle, but we never ended up using - afterwards, the GM confirmed that it was actually a puzzle, but an overenthusiastic group had broken it a few weeks prior. And there was one object that looked broken but we needed to interact with - every team member had inspected it and concluded it wasn't relevant, and we needed a hint to try it. Overall, I applaud the tie-in to local history, but it kind of felt like the designer leaned into that too hard and was not as familiar with escape rooms. The game felt a little rough; some polishing would give it a much better impression.

interesting room! a bit different than typical rooms, and not as immersive as the other two rooms here, but it was a fun play! a couple fun and interesting puzzles, a couple silly fun parts! it was a good smattering of different things! very non-linear

Organized Chaos is a perfect game for large groups, with score based gameplay and countless puzzles to solve. While I prefer Panacea, this is a great, approachable game.

Gameplay

Lots of fun, exciting puzzles!

Atmosphere

Some areas looked nicer than others, but overall nice to look at.

The story behind Organized Crime was one that pulled my group in. Two of us being self proclaimed Escape Room aficionados, we figured we could handle the hardest room these guys had to offer. However this room was hard for the wrong reasons. Set pieces weren’t glued down where they were supposed to be, the puzzles were either too simple or too far fetched to be attainable and fun, and the room as a whole had no finite finishing point. The point of the room is to find all of the clues of a crime at the crime scene, but it’s up to you to check them off a list on the wall. There’s no sound cue telling you you’re on the right track or something has been found. Also, there was one box holding three keys and one keypad. When a number was uncoded, it didn’t matter if it was 4, 5, or 6 digits, you just had to know to put it into the keypad and hope for the best. And as good as some of the set design was, the idea of it being a seedy bar for criminals was kind of lost on our group, especially when we felt nothing was at stake. Needless to say, it lacked immersion and felt just like a room.
