Beat the clock and save Gotham City once and for all. Gotham City, a metropolis plagued by crime and injustice, is in dire need of heroes. In response to the escalating threats, Batman has initiated a new Gotham City Guardian training program. You have been carefully selected for the program to attempt a new and intense training exercise that includes stopping a training device Batman planted in the heart of Gotham City filled with a non-harmful chemical compound designed to mimic a legitimate chemical leak without the fatality. The device is fitted with a countdown clock that will release the gas in exactly 60 minutes after your mission start time, so you'll have to work quickly.

Holy escapes Batman! This was a fine licensed Batman room, though I was left wanting more out of it than what I actually got. The game starts with the disembodied voice of Batman in the Batcave. There are some cool props and references and more voices. But that’s about it. The puzzles are okay, with one puzzle that was broken figuratively and physically. We used up 2 hints on that one and still didn’t understand what we were doing wrong. Then we realized maybe the buttons weren’t working correctly. Other puzzles were also finicky with the inputs. The set was decent, but it felt lifeless and corporate. It lacked in any real creative use of the license. It’s kind of telling that I thought and unlicensed room used the brand better. Still not bad, and probably better than watching the Joker 2. HAHAHAHA! Oh that must be the laughing gas kicking in. Needs more Bat Escape Spray.
