Haunted House

I have escaped at Escapology before, but I really wanted to share my latest experience there. My husband and I went with some of our coworkers to tackle the Haunted House room, and it was a fantastic evening! The room has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. The set pieces in the room were really well done. Each area we opened and explored offered a good variety of puzzles that allowed a group of 5 to stay involved at all times. The storyline of the room was engaging, and the only remotely negative thing I could say about the room is that I wanted it to delve into the backstory of the Haunted House even more because I loved what they did give us. I would note that there is a puzzle that requires the use of an Ouija Board to solve it. I don't recall seeing that warning on the site. We had people in our group willing to use it so it wasn't a problem, but if you are like me and won't touch one, you have been warned.

the game was pretty challenging but it was manageable and fun with a few helpful nudges. some things were just really out there to see/navigate compared to some of their other games. nonetheless we did have a great time and escaped with about 7 minutes remaining! the atmosphere was questionable when we checked in but got better. the staff that were checking us in were negatively talking about another group that just got out and i didn’t love hearing that. but checking out was a much better environment!

Great room Super fun experience. Spooky not scary. Easily the best room at Escapology. Great set, fun puzzles, and a great use of a small footprint. For a smaller game, this has everything you might expect in a room - good vibes and good set, searching required, teamwork / communication required, and some tough but fair puzzles.

Excellent room! Even though I didn’t escape in 60, it was close. I’d say 2 puzzles are really hard to solve without some guidance.

Strong like for the room. Lot of fun, just the right amount of spookiness, not bad at all, great puzzles, cool ending, we liked it!

Over complicate and uses AI for the art in the room. Room felt scary but lots of the puzzles were half assed some were great others make you wonder how they even came to this conclusion. Room is dark and they give you lamps that the battery's fall out easily if you move it to fast or rough. It was Held together with Velcro . One of the props did cut my hand slightly and did mention it to the staff.

SO FUN! Minor gripes but overall one of the best escape rooms I’ve done

The puzzles were a unique twist on a typical haunted escape room. My favorites (without spoilers) were: the 3D printed model (I’m a sucker for anything 3D printed), and the final puzzle.
