Centuries ago, Mulberry Manor was built as a gift from Edward Mulberry to his wife and children. But behind the beautiful facade lies a gruesome and bone chilling past. In October of 1871, Edward and his children were killed in a cold-blooded massacre; their bodies torn to pieces and scattered throughout the manor. Authorities mysteriously abandoned the case, leaving Lady Mulberry alone, driven by grief to unravel the truth. Her far-fetched retellings of an evil that plagued her family were dismissed as delusions, until her sudden death one year later marking the tragic conclusion to the family fable. Every year, on the anniversary of their deaths, torturous screams echo from within as if to lure people inside. Yet those who dared to enter suffered the same short lived fate. You are the only living descendants to the Mulberry family, recently granted the estate. You have read the stories; you have heard the rumors; yet you enter with the wish to amass your fortune, hoping the rumors are just that. Standing in the very place each victim drew their final breaths, an ominous presence overwhelms you! Desperate to escape, you search for a way out but your fate has been sealed; you are trapped; and the horror stories have turned into a nightmarish reality. Legend has it that the spirits feed on their victims' souls, harnessing the strength of a mystical talisman believed to bridge the living and the dead. Time becomes your opponent as your energy drains minute by minute. In one hour, the talisman will be corrupted beyond reversal, sentencing you to an eternity of torture! Do you have what it takes to find the talisman and escape the clutches of evil? Or become the next victim in this spine chilling horror story. Time is of the essence!

Easily the best room at Escapology. Great set, fun puzzles, great use of a small space footprint.

The puzzles were a unique twist on a typical haunted escape room. My favorites (without spoilers) were: the 3D printed model (Iβm a sucker for anything 3D printed), and the final puzzle.
Yes
The 3D printed model in room 3 (thatβs all Iβll say without spoilers) was a very novel addition to a puzzle.

Fun place! Theming was basic, only one really cool puzzle, a bit crowded today (Saturday), story was basic. Overall fun but not crazy.
Some new puzzles Iβve never seen before.
Excellent sets, but the theme was pretty basic.
GM was good, but the place was packed and they didnβt interact with us a lot.
No
It was a classic haunted house escape room. Nothing that novel about it EXCEPT for one puzzle.
The story didnβt really translate. It all felt generic.
Medium
Some puzzles that took moments longer than usual, but nothing requiring hints.
Mechanical

Some bottle necking at points.
Spooky
Some fun jump scares and loud knocking sounds.
13
Some mature themes and requires listening and low light searching, so better for older kids.

There was some crouching at one point!
Not great for people with visibility problems or with mobility problems. I wouldnβt choose this one if anyone in your group has any moderate-severe impairments.

I was so impressed by this room! I went in not thinking it would be good but it was one of the scariest rooms Iβve done. It was very high tech and super creative. It had so many cool elements and surprises. However I do see how some of the puzzles were not straight forward. I would recommend using clues because there is a lot to do.

This is a great room for those who like spooky but do not like gore. There are some light jump scares and an ouija board, but nothing too hard core. The puzzles were straightforward, effects were impressive, and storylines was fun. Recommended!

This room was on par with Who Stole Mona? Good theming. Creepy factor was great. Had a couple of jump scares. Bring a jacket if you get cold easily, the I-Drive location of Escapology often has very cold rooms.

You do have to be able to step up onto a step at one point. One player must be able to crawl or duck through a low ceiling at one point, the other player(s) can bypass it.

Was cute. Kinda spooky, kinda meh. Fun experience but not a fave

It was a great room but it really needed another 15-30 minutes to get the full experience. There was lots of small spaces so it was very hard to see clues or puzzles while others were working on it. Some audio was low and hard to hear. While the puzzles themselves werenβt overly difficult, more time was needed to orient yourselves, learn how to do the puzzles, and complete the puzzle itself. It was very linear and that detracted from a faster completion time!

The rooms were very well built. I liked the aesthetic and the idea, I just donβt understand why every horror themed room has to use a oui*a board. It makes people uncomfortable. Be original and think outside the box

Not a terrible room! Obviously itβs an Escapology room, but nothing was frustrating and everything worked well. On the easier side for sure.
