Jester's Revenge

While my husband loves the Jurassic Project, Jester's Revenge was my favorite of all we've done so far! The theming is great, but the room doesn't rely on over-the-top effects for it to be immersive. The puzzles are fantastic, and the theme lends itself to a wide variety of puzzles. I did not expect to love this room, but I did. We did have some issues with a couple of puzzles malfunctioning, and the game master ultimately had to enter the room to physically address an issue on one occasion. These difficulties affected our time, and our game play was rushed at the end, but we still really enjoyed the room. With some updating, this room could be amazing. In terms of the game play, I would recommend having more than two people for this room (it can be done but is a lot more difficult with two). There were some physical elements to this room; however, this was puzzle-specific and not applicable to this game as a whole.

The puzzles were great! There were lots of puzzles. This room is less immersive than their other rooms, but still a fun room!

Probably need a group of more than 4 here. A lot going on here, for a room that did not lead to many other spaces.

We love MER! Always a great time. This room is just the right amount of creepy, but it does have one of the worst jump scares I've ever seen in an escape room, like curl up in fetal position for a second level of jump scare. At least for one of us. That said, it's a great room with lots of fun and unique parts that we don't see elsewhere often, especially the last element.

Do not do this room if you have a fear of clowns

While this room is better than most escape rooms out there, putting it up against this locations other rooms is a letdown. Fun puzzles, but atmosphere was middling, and story was nonexistent. You can tell this room was built in the height of the new “it” movies popularity. Also they call this their most challenging which is definitely not true. We did this after another room on the same day which is probably for the best because had we come just to do this one we would have been disappointed. Noting it takes 4 hours for me to get to this room round trip.

This was a fun room, but a lot less immersive and difficult than the other rooms Memphis Escapes has.

This was our 200th room, and we were super excited to hit this milestone with such a great business. The owners are an awesome team that make great rooms!

This room had a lot of unique puzzles!

This room has the potential to be absolutely amazing with some updating/tweaking. Compared to other rooms at this location, it feels slightly outdated. The puzzles themselves were very fun and definitely make you think. Plenty of riddles and creative thinking in this one.
