An elementary good time! We had the house to ourselves and were blown away by the decorations and details everywhere you look. Such a fun, immersive, and unique place to stay. We loved every minute!

As all the reviews say, there isn't anything else like it. Our family did it once for my son's birthday, and then we did it again for my birthday about a year later. So, so well done, and the hosts add personal touches to your experience that make it so much fun. It will be the experience against which you compare all other escape rooms!

Holy smokes! This place is really something special. We traveled from California just to do it and were not disappointed! So many great puzzles and a wonderful feel to the whole place. Super hosts that even left snacks because they know puzzle solving is hungry work.

Absolutely phenomenal! This is one of the best escape game experiences EVER. I loved every minute and would totally do it again. Magical, thoughtful and so immersive. I loved working all the puzzles with no time limit. This was very well thought-out. So very cool.

This is an incredible experience. I’ve never slept in an escape room, so this was a first. Almost the entire home is used for the puzzling. There were seven of us, which is right on the edge of being too many, and we had a blast solving puzzles and searching the house for clues. We estimated that it took us around 3.5 hours to finish the experience. This was a group of experienced players, so plan accordingly if you book. Which you should if you get the chance. The atmosphere in the home is superb: lighting, decor, scents, music are all above and beyond. The puzzles are fantastic. What they’ve managed to pull off without a GM in the house is jaw dropping.

Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had! The couple who owns it are so sweet and kind and have so much passion for their craft! Even without the puzzles it’s totally worth it as an AirBNB. If you’re celebrating something, they add an additional puzzle that you can hide a gift for the person in! It’s also a neighborhood that has a lot of deer and they provide snacks for you to feed the deer with! The theming is incredible and the experience is worth every penny and more! I can’t recommend it enough!

The Sherlock Home in San Antonio is an absolute gem! For escape room enthusiasts, this place truly sets itself apart. The unique puzzles were challenging and incredibly engaging, leading to some genuinely surprising reveals that kept us on our toes. The well-appointed decor and thoughtful details completely immersed us in the Sherlock Holmes theme – it felt like stepping right into Baker Street! We also appreciated their clever hint guide system, which offered just enough nudges to confirm we were on the right track without giving away too much. Beyond the exceptional escape room experience, The Sherlock Home went above and beyond by setting up some sweet surprises for my birthday – a truly thoughtful touch! And the location itself is magical. We were delighted to see deer roaming the neighborhood that we could even feed! The comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood ensured a restful stay as well. We are looking forward to trying the Grimm's Enchanted Cottage next!

This is a must for escape room enthusiasts especially because this is maybe only one of two escape room air bnbs in the United States right now. The puzzles are numerous in this house so for just two people I was glad that we booked two nights so that we could space out the puzzling in between unpacking, sight seeing, and ordering meals to the house. There is a lot of searching involved throughout the house. Some puzzles are a little harder than others. But once we got to the third or fourth stage in the puzzles we flew through and were absolutely delighted and astounded by the craftsmanship of elements of the house. We cannot believe they built what they did into this old house from the seventies! So glad that we flew all the way out from CT to this experience. Also the home was very comfortable and the hosts provided us with snacks and drinks and cute decorations to celebrate our first wedding anniversary! So thoughtful and sweet! Also be prepared for many deer in the area that just wander the front yards of the quaint neighborhood. The hosts provided us with popcorn to feed them and at one point I got about a dozen deer to congregate in the yard! Overall a wonderful time and I can’t wait to do their second one based on Grimm’s fairytales!
