Dive into the depths of danger as you infiltrate the Kraken Casino, the underwater empire owned by the notorious supervillain, known only as The Captain. The stakes are higher than the ocean itself – This money-laundering casino conceals a perilous secret. The Captain is developing a world-altering super weapon, and only your resistance can thwart his plans. Enter the heart of the casino, break into the heavily guarded vault, and obliterate the power source before it's too late. The waters are treacherous, and El Capitan's wrath is unforgiving. Will you rise against the tide and become the hero the world needs?

I like the set of this one, and personally, a fancy set goes a long way for me! It looks nice in there! This is my favorite set from Escape Date so far. I also like their difficulty balance. A 2-person room is difficult to balance because some people just can't swing it and others fly through it like a hot knife through butter. (I'd know, because I have the other 2-person room in the area.) I think these people have struck a good balance. Some tech in there can be finicky sometimes. I haven't experienced this room in the hottest of summers or coldest of winters (I went in September), but the AC in there has some power to it and they let you control it yourself. I notice a previous reviewer said it was rather warm in there in December. That says something about the control you have. (Transparency clause: I co-own Secret Combinations, another local escape room company.)

The set design was my favorite part of the room (which is often the case for me).

No horror or anything, but it's hard enough I wouldn't recommend leaving a couple kids to their own devices in there.

There was a finicky puzzle the game master had to come in & trigger on her own.

The casino theme was amazing, and the puzzles fit so well with the theme. One of the puzzles was a little touchy, which cost us quite a bit of time, but we still had a fun time, and it was great that it kept three of us occupied the entire time.

For such a small space, there is a lot going on! Overall a fun room. My only complaint is that it was so hot in there.

Fun to do. Clever. Well done. One of the puzzles felt more like following instruction more than a puzzle, but still fun to do.

Atmosphere

Well made. Clean. Not overly cluttered.

This one was interesting! It is in a trailer outside in their parking lot, and you communicate with the game master through a walkie talkie. We asked for some help a few times, but had fun! This room definitely can only have about 2-3 people in it!

Very fun! It was on a trailer and it did get a little toasty but not unbearable. Unique puzzles which wears very fun. It is not lock heavy at all which I really like!
