At the end of this room our game master ushered us out and tried to be so encouraging - "wow you guys were so close!" and we all just looked at each other and said "we were?"
That's the problem with this room. Illogical puzzles. Zero signposting. None. Doors would just unlock after a certain amount of time. The room was ridiculously dark for no reason. We'd just stand around trying the same solution a handful of times with no luck and the suddenly the door was open. So many red herrings.
When we asked what we were supposed to do the employees were just like "ah, you're gonna have to come back and try it again ;)". Um. Hell no. I don't think we would get any further the second time.
Actor was great - atmosphere was spooky - but dang: wouldn't recommend.
No. Flow was non-existent. No momentum whatsoever.
The one thing they did well.
Staff was welcoming, but there was NO GM. NO HINTS. NO DIRECTION.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Something about a little girl getting involved with the devil in an abusive home? Not very clear.
Expert feels like the wrong way to explain the puzzles. More like, dumb luck.
Game tech
No tech or mechanics.
Actor in the room, but at most they kinda just stand menacingly for bits of time. Never active scaring (if I remember correctly).
I wouldn't recommend this game.
Everything seemed broken.
This guy did a great job. Even made me a bloody card for my birthday. He was the best part.
Physically active
Somewhat
Crawling.
Accessibility
Room is very dark. Crawling is required, but your team can unlock the adjoining door.
