100 escape rooms
This is possibly the worst room that ever exists. When I went to go to this room at gen con 2024 I was not expecting Much for being a pop up. And oh boy did this exceed my expectations for how bad the r was going to be. So first we go in, and around 30 seconds in we have to turn and face the wall like a tornado drill as the game master forgot to reset puzzles. The game master than sits in the corner for the next 40 minutes while we’re solving puzzles resetting the last puzzles. Also the people in this room were plenty weird. There was another family in the room who one of their children was sitting under the Christmas tree pretending to be a present. That’s not the weird part. Then, supposedly the father of one of the children slide under the tree to our (then married) family friend and says “can you unwrap me like a present.” No words are needed to show how that is disturbing being said by a married man with children to a stranger. Then the game master steps outside in a krampus/monster mask and claws and just sits behind and claws at the door for 7 ish minutes. Then when we finally complete the room the game master falls to the ground because we defeated krampus and then proceeds to remove the mask and gloves and say “it’s ok it just me guys.” Along with how atrocious the experience was, the puzzle were bad and worn out to the point of them nearly being impossible. I have done nearly 100 rooms and I have done some bad rooms but this is BY FAR the worst.
