This one was pretty good. Some stuff I'll admit was not particularly distinctive of the movies, though I still think they did a decent job of creating an unsettling atmosphere. The costuming and make up was also very impressive.

I think what makes it more scary is if you get lost in the atmosphere and freak yourself out from it.

Pretty creepy! My favorite section was when you walked through the further and all the spirits (live actors) where standing on either side of you, completely frozen and all staring at you. Love it!

This is the house with the longest wait and possibly the scariest house this year. Unfortunately, it’s also the most disappointing. There aren’t really any memorable scenes or set pieces. Just a bunch of hallways and generic rooms with scares. Also, I absolutely could not handle the vomit smell. I love the immersive scents Universal always does, but this is the first time they’ve gone too far. This made Leatherface’s rotten meat smell appetizing.

This was one of the scarier of all the haunted houses here at Universal this year. I’d definitely recommend it. 👍

I’d say only bring a kid to this who is really into horror movies.
