It was a fun room that really got the suspense high because it felt like you had something to lose. It was very engaging, and the puzzles were easy to understand, but then took more thought to solve, which is how I think escape rooms should be. The game master wasn’t great, and felt like she just wanted to get off her shift and go home, so she didn’t put very much effort into her job, but I think the room itself was pretty good, and she didn’t ruin our experience.
It genuinely felt like you walked into a bank.
The game master was fine, but at one point we were given a “clue” that made the answer to the puzzle we were on very obvious while I was in the process of trying to figure it out. Additionally, she knew that we had already done one game there that night and sort of knew one of our players, so she had very little emotion and gave very little effort in telling the story. Plus, when we got out at the end, she didn’t come to get us, she just reset the time on our computer before we could get a picture, and 2 minutes later put a note on the computer saying “you can just come down when your ready”.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Physically active
Somewhat
There were steps down into the room at first, so it wasn’t very accessible, but you only had to use the stairs to get in and out and maybe one more time in gameplay, so it wasn’t like you were constantly running up and down the stairs.
Accessibility
There were a lot of stairs needed to get in and out of the room, so for anyone with mobility issues it would probably be a problem.
