There were several factors that contributed to our overall disappointment with this experience. First, our group size slightly exceeded the recommended maximum for the room. While this was an oversight on our part, we hoped the presence of several young children might make it more manageable. Unfortunately, the location could not accommodate us all in one room. They offered to split us into two separate groups to play different rooms, which we reluctantly accepted due to time constraints and not wanting to forfeit the money already spent. This separation affected the group's dynamic and mood right from the start.

Second, based on our previous experiences at other escape rooms, we had some basic expectations—such as a visible digital countdown timer. This location did not have one. Instead, there was an analog clock on the wall that blended into the room decor. We weren’t informed that this was what we should use to track time, and at first assumed it was part of a puzzle. Not having a clear sense of how much time was left made it harder to pace ourselves and decide when to request help.

Third, the clue system involved pressing a bell and waiting for the gamemaster to enter the room, get an update from us, and then assist. While this face-to-face interaction was a unique touch, it was time-consuming—especially since the gamemaster was supporting both our group and the other half that had been split off. Each time we needed help, we had to wait several minutes, and unfortunately, the clock continued to run during that time. A pause feature or more efficient system could have greatly improved the experience.

As for the room itself, it felt quite outdated. Many of the puzzles seemed either overly obscure or lacked logical flow. Several clues required hints to make progress—like a key hidden on a stuffed animal’s arm or inside a random picture frame—without any reasonable connection or prompting. The final puzzle we didn’t complete was later explained to us, but even then, it didn’t make much sense to our group, which left us feeling more confused than enlightened.

In the end, neither our room nor the other group's had a successful or particularly enjoyable time. While it’s possible that being split up from the beginning set a negative tone, the other factors mentioned above added up to a less-than-satisfying experience.

Beatiful room, the having one flash light is annoying, would be utter frustrating with more than one person. But overall the room was good. This location was great. Very nice staff.

It was very simple and more of a lock and key approach. It's not terribly immersive because the clues and locks take you out of the story and remind you that you're playing a game where you unlock or find things. But I would recommend it for someone looking for a basic experience. The staff was kind and helpful.

The rooms was fun! The room was supposed to be a little creepy/scary but we didn’t feel that. But it was a lot of fun & we did escape! The employee was very nice & helpful!
