The Mad Magician

If you enjoy lots of props and more of a hunt, this may be for you. However I found the first room to be oversaturated and clustered with no direction. The props are fun, but its just not my style. We didn’t escape due to fault. A key prop was missing and we were basically just accused of stealing it. However there is just so much stuff in there, its impossible to keep track. It would be a nightmare for the staff

My favourite out of all escape house's. Just pure fun and whimsey some really cool puzzle concepts and props! Staff are super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend all of escape house's games!

Not particularly challenging but cool aesthetics. Like the Airplane Hijack, we wished there were more to the gameplay.

WHAT DA MAGIC IS?? Finally coming back and finishing off the rooms at Escape House was a joy! As a biiiiiig fan of magic themed rooms (the tomfoolery kind not the Harry Potter kind) it was easy to have a good time in the Mad Magician. A surprisingly multi-linear affair there were an abundance of puzzles available to be solved in any order you damn well please, a welcome addition for two players with experience which worked most of the time but could use a touch more signposting in others. The puzzles themselves were on theme, made sense, and helped further the story along. Good vibes. I was especially impressed by the second room which was cleverly hidden and contained a multitude of fun tech-based puzzles as a neat change up from the standard lock and code format we worked through in the first half. Overall a really enjoyable and vibrant room and my favourite of the three across the venue! 6.5/10 🔏🧩

What da magic is? Gah, another trapped magician we’ve been sent to save. You’d think they’d learn about cages and assistants and such. A fun little magic room with just so, so many *things* to collect. Ironically, some trick-y puzzles through this one but nothing we couldn’t HANDLE. Definitely one to keep your eyes peeled and check anything and everything. Attention to detail is your friend. I had a fun time with this one, big ups.
