Overall, not worth $40. Much more suited for a beginner group of people who are interested in puzzles and not plot.
I was excited at first when I saw the room setup, but then realized it was simply puzzles that were frequently not intuitive (random math/logic puzzles, nothing motivated by story. progressions felt random and isolated). The hint system was to ring a bell and have an attendant come into the room and tell you a hint, which (for me) breaks immersion and provides an opportunity for ill trained attendants to talk down to stuck players.
Atmosphere
Compelling first look, points for sound design (having ambient clock ticking/music). Loses points for having a room full of doors and no secret second room.
Customer service
First GM was awesome and got us hype for the room. Midway through our attendant changed and she presented in a ruder fashion than the first one.
