Return to Tiger Island

Pretty good room… found it to be a little difficult though (One puzzle in particular). I like the design, I thought it was cute. The story was sort of cliche but nothing too dumb. The side quest was definitely an interesting element, but at the end of the day it was wholly unnecessary. I think this was a good, entertaining room, but not great by any means.

Completed the base room + the Poseidon side quests with the 8 blue jewels. Fun, but had us running around a lot. One part of the puzzle was not self-explanatory (red/green squares) but can be figured out regardless. Otherwise that was a great time spent! Got to the leader board with 4m21s left on the board.

From the moment you step inside, the immersive story captivates you, transporting you to a world rich in local history and legends. The room's design fits well with the theme, with every detail crafted to immerse you into the story. The storyline is compelling, weaving together elements of adventure, mystery, and exploration reminiscent of Indiana Jones. Despite being a lock-heavy escape room, the thematic appropriateness ensures that each lock code is well-integrated into the game and the story. The clues are cleverly hidden and don't require much assistance from the game master, making the search both challenging and fun. This is a newly opened room, so there were some minor challenges with one of the puzzles. However, this is activlly being worked on to resolve. One novel feature is the inclusion of a side quest, "Tears of Poseidon," which adds a fun element to the game. This optional quest doesn't need to be completed to escape but enhances the experience, especially for larger groups. It also contributes to the scoring element of the game, allowing teams to compete for a spot on the leaderboard in the lobby. We happily managed to complete both the main quest and the side quest with time to spare. Our game master was fantastic ! She was attentive and providing nudges only when necessary, ensuring we had a memorable time. Her enthusiasm contributed significantly to our overall experience. Return to Tiger Island is a must-visit for both escape room enthusiasts and newcomers and great for families looking for a fun family outing. The engaging storyline, fun puzzles, and captivating atmosphere make this an adventure that will leave you with lasting memories and a sense of accomplishment. So grab your team and embark into adventure.
