Trixie's Tavern Trials

Amazing room. The puzzles were very clever and the set was great. It is a bit linear so we all ended up working together for most of it, but we were a group of three so it was perfect. One technical glitch which was quickly resolved and did not effect our escape.

One of my favorites! I loved all the different kinds of puzzles that were involved and that it utilized everyone in my groups skills one way or another. Loved the ending and as a team we had a very fun/cutesy moment to complete it!

Liz was great. We have been looking for a room to this caliber for a while. Amazing immersion, great theming, beautiful room. We can’t wait to be back to try all the others. From the moment you walk in, you are already immersed into the theming. This is very unique. Liz not only provided a great game experience, but also was so patient with us answering our questions after.

Loved this one, and was never too difficult for us, even if it took our group a moment to really get underway. Lots of creative puzzles, great effects and mechanical automations really sold the story and atmosphere. Was a little dark, but we used the available lanterns to great effect. Our game master Kenzie was amazing in her roles, and we've been super lucky to get her for both our adventures at this location. I can't recommend her enough - she sets the bar so high! We're stoked for the next wave of rooms that open up later this year.

Thank you Kenzie, our GM absolutely loved your energy! This room was very well themed, the puzzles were challenging and enjoyable. We did this with four people but super experienced could definitely do it with two!

From the moment we arrived at Sure Lock Escapes in Kent to take on Trixie’s Tavern Trials, we were completely immersed in the experience. Themed from top to bottom, the lobby, lockers, and restrooms all contributed to the fantasy setting—and were impressively well done. Our Game Master, Kira, brought the world to life right away with her fun, in-character introduction to our quest. Entering the Stout Oak Tavern felt like stepping onto a fantasy movie set. The tavern is Disney-level quality! The room is spacious, detailed, and clearly crafted with a lot of love and effort. Every puzzle and prop was thoughtfully designed and thematically consistent. The puzzles themselves offered a great mix of styles and difficulty, and we especially appreciated how the designers built an in world system for making it clear which locks went with which puzzles—helping keep us immersed in the story rather than searching for “a 4 digit lock” or “a 5 character lock.” The room is full of special effects, all of which were smoothly executed and added to the magic. Trixie, our in-game hint provider, was just the right amount of helpful—always responsive, occasionally sassy, and never disruptive. As of this review, I’ve completed every room across Sure Lock’s three locations, and Trixie’s Tavern Trials is my favorite so far. Highly recommended!

Loved the detail and atmosphere design in this one! Stellar visuals, clever puzzles that felt great to solve, and a fun bit of voice acting to boot. 9/10

Loved the storyline, puzzles and decorations of the room. Each puzzle was fun and creative but not overwhelmingly challenging. Our game master Cee was great!

This is one of the best escape rooms my bf and I have done. It was our 13th one trying. The detail they have put into the whole experience is excellent. We did the Trixie Tavern and the puzzles were detailed and tricky (pun intended) Staff wad sweet and amazing help. We didn't escape on time but we were allowed to keep playing until we did finish the room. Highly recommend.
