After years of uncovering clues, you and your team have been led to the small Egyptian Village of Saqqara, home to ancient burial grounds of Egyptian royalty, including the oldest stone building known in history, the Pyramid of Djoser. Days of combing the desert leads you to the entrance to the tomb you’ve long searched for. At this point, you’ve spent countless hours wandering through the ancient chambers and finally you’ve reached the Tomb of Djoser, the Pharaoh of the Third Dynasty. In the midst of your discovery and excitement, the entrance door has closed and you are trapped. The air is thinning. There is only one way out from here…forward. Can you make it out alive? Sacrifices may have to be made. This room is ideal for kids or people who are relatively new to escape rooms!

Fun room with good puzzles, theming, and set design. Egyptian tomb theming has definitely been done but our host went the extra mile to make our time excellent. Our gamemaster (don't remember his name, otherwise I would shout him out here) helped accommodate our group which had many members who had limited English proficiency. Hints were translated into Spanish, and the overall accommodation was excellent. Would recommend!

Of their three current games, I enjoyed the puzzles in this room the most. There were several with a new twist on an old puzzle as well as a couple that were unique. The set and story are average, not top tier, but nowhere near the worst we’ve done. I had a good time and if you’re in the area, they’re worth playing. My chief complaint about all of their rooms is that it was not always obvious what you triggered upon completing a puzzle. You would think that you completed the puzzle correctly, but weren’t sure as it was not obvious that a door or drawer had opened.

Of the 3 games at Elevation, this one falls in the middle. All games are fairly standard here, nothing spectacular but pretty far from the worst games I’ve done. The set in this one is…clearly trying to be Egyptian, but once you’ve done a few serious top tier Egyptian rooms, and you’re really into Egyptian mythology, it’s hard to play games with basic hieroglyphs and sandstone yellow paint, and feel immersed. With that being said, this game has probably the best puzzle selection out of the 3 games at Elevation. As well as…a very unique way to disperse a riddle in escape rooms.

Came back to check out the other two rooms. I'd rank this one #2 of theirs. It was fun and kept us engaged throughout. Some of the puzzles aren't intuitive and I'd imagine some people getting frustrated. The staff is nice and cares. Atmosphere is great. If you're an enthusiast you may not want to travel here for this one. In the area, worth doing
