The abandoned Black Lake Church is notoriously haunted.

10 years ago, a group of famous YouTubers mysteriously disappeared after visiting the church to film a paranormal investigation video. The news shocked the world, and the church was quickly sealed off by the government.

10 years later, people have gradually forgotten about the incident, and the watch over the church has become less strict. You and your group of adventurous friends found the old records online and decided to sneak in tonight for an investigation of your own.

I found Unseen to be the strongest of all the experiences of the new Lost in Melbourne venue, with a really nice flow of puzzles, clever use of space and spooky atmosphere. 

The story and theming went a bit askew but with such a new room, there’s always room for tweaks. 

The main talking point for me was the inclusion of a very tight crawl space that leads players underneath the flooring of the room. This was a surprising inclusion given there is no claustrophobia warning upon booking. 
Crawling is a cool idea in theory but in this instance, is executed in the least player-friendly way possible. 
The 10-odd metres of dusty concrete floors were uncomfortable to navigate, with players even having to backtrack in and out of the space more than once. There’s also no cameras installed to monitor this part of the experience which creates major issues regarding player safety and wellbeing. Not good.

Fun room, one big blemish.

Room was pretty eerie ! Loved that Sara broke a decoration AHAH but yes! Defs a good crawlspace

My partner and I get spooked very easy and are new to the Horror Escape Genre.

Unseen was spooky but not overly scary with some fun very traditional escape room puzzles.

There's a crawl space in the room that I myself couldn't go through comfortably due to being 6"2' however my partner did it for me.

Had alot of fun
Story for us felt very cohesive and flowed well, didn't have an option for hints but didn't need it.

Could not recommend this room more!

Unseen was undoubtedly the pick of the Exhibition St rooms, with a nice flow and some fun story aspects, it was a pleasant surprise from the theme we were probably the least keen for. 
Some classic spooks but nothing too crazy, it also featured a rather tight crawl space that I fear may prove challenging for people who are a bit larger than we are.
The puzzles did feel a little disjointed in parts, for a new room I probably would've expected some more tech and less locks.
You get a little surprise to take home with you as well, a fun little addition.
