This experience is not worth the $35 that we paid per person. Go to any other place in the area. One of the puzzles required knowledge from the intro, but the intro was given to us so quietly and unenthusiasticly that it was impossible to know. It was worn down, and because of that so many things became red herrings when they really shouldn't have been. Horrible.
There was pretty much zero flow from puzzle to puzzle. Most of the time when you play escape rooms, puzzles lead to more puzzles which allows you to move forward. This was simply not that way. There were several times that we were not stuck on a puzzle, we just simply did not have any clue what to do next.
Extremely sparce, when I walked in it almost felt like it was just a continuation of the lobby. All that inside the first room was a bench, some pillars, and paintings along the wall that were so worn you could hardly see them.
The gm was very unenthusiastic, and difficult to understand. It was clear that he must have been running several rooms at once which is never good, but there were several times when we believe he missed a trigger, i.e. things would open so late that there is no possible way it could have been automatic, and we would have missed it because we checked everything in one room, went on to the next, and only saw that it opened when we came back to the first.
No
Extremely cookie cutter, it's about an art thief.
Easy
The puzzles themselves were incredibly easy, but so many things were broken that it made some of them near impossible
High tech
I only put high tech because there were only a few actual physical locks, but so many things were broken that I don't think it really is.

Yes
Multiple things were visually broken, not kept up well, or simply too worn for normal use. On several occasions things would open so late after we solved the puzzle that we thought we solved it wrong and continually got more and more confused. There were also pen marks through the room, leading me to believe previous players marked it up and the company hasn't been able to, or hasn't bothered to clean it. Nothing was said about this.

Most of the room is accessible but the door to the third room had a lip that was way too tall for anyone in crutches or any variants to get through.

Kinda flat and not much as far as decor, but cute if you keep a positive mind

Pretty solid. One of the puzzles was broken when we went but we still had fun.

Not worth it for the price. Better escape rooms in the area.

Do not recommend this room or business. we love escape rooms, we arenβt professionals by any means nor do we break records as a group of 2 but we have done 30-40 escape rooms in many different states and (surprisingly) Tacoma has INCREDIBLE escape rooms! We were pleasantly surprised! We did another 7 rooms from various other locations during our week vacation and they were all so much better. Some more expensive but others cheaper than this one and still way better. For this room, we were given a wrong piece of the puzzle from the very beginning and therefore we were stuck on a single puzzle for a really long time. The game master ultimately gave us the answer to keep things moving but it bothered us that we couldnβt figure it out. At the end of the game, we asked for an explanation of that puzzle and he simply said βit was in one of the puzzle pieces.β He didnβt get up to show us or let us explain that the piece we had gotten was actually not the correct one. We werenβt asking for a refund, we werenβt even mad, we just wanted to understand why that puzzle stumped us for so long. Overall poor experience despite escaping. It wasnβt just the game master though, the room itself is very flat and not immersive. There are other much better rooms, including The Rockstar from Cityscape games, the pirate one from Escape Hour Point Ruston (and their Gig Harbor location), and many others around the area!!

Do not play this game. Walking in feels very overwhelming as this company does escape rooms, axe throwing, rage room, painting etc. Walking into the room you have very little to go off - and the biggest problem was we had no way of communicating with our game master. We are given a tablet to ask for clues but were in the βwrongβ channel and got no response for over 10 minutes. Locks/puzzle mechanics were worn and difficult to open. Key puzzle really needed to be maneuvered in a specific way - GM even struggled when walking us through the ending. TLDR; there are much better escape experiences in the Tacoma area.
Walking in thereβs not a lot to work off of. It is really confusing where to start and where to focus. There were red herrings that were not easily distinguished from regular clues. Puzzles did not connect to each other or clearly lead to a next step. There are stickers added to things not to touch and it distracts from the flow.
Nothing impressive about this room. Very fill up a room by throwing some false walls vibe. Did not note any special effects/props that were exciting or of good quality.
Thereβs a lot going on when you walk in cause of other groups going to axe throwing/painting etc. so we had to step to the side for a bit to wait to be helped. Itβs a bit of a different experience than a standard escape room waiting area - not in a positive way. But everyone was nice.

Nothing of note or good quality.
No no and no. Puzzles very disjointed - cliche painter plot.
Easy
Only difficulty comes from lack of quality. Some puzzles were very worn and needed to be handled a very specific way to open.
Mechanical
Lots of locks and codes. Some light/basic tech.

I wouldnβt recommend this game :)

Locks were very worn and key puzzle had to be maneuvered very specifically. The game master when walking us through the ending had difficulty showing up the βcorrectβ way.

We did this one with our 10 and14 year old kids. They enjoyed and were able to help some. The room was pretty basic overall. Some puzzles were confusing but we did escape. With a few more adult brains it may have been easier.

the immersion and decoration of this room were lacking. it was very empty and flat feeling. the flow of the puzzles was okay but nothing special. the staff were nice but i think one person was running multiple rooms at once which is not the coolest. the Worst thing about this experience was the clue giving system. they give you a tablet on which to text message them, and then they take several minutes to respond. this wouldnβt be a huge deal if they didnβt have a puzzle which requires you to verify your code with your host before entering it. youβre going to force me to message you and then i have to wait several minutes for you to answer while my time is ticking away? not cool. there are lots of better escape rooms in tacoma, i would recommend choosing another place.
