This experience is not worth the $35 that we paid per person. Go to any other place in the area. One of the puzzles required knowledge from the intro, but the intro was given to us so quietly and unenthusiasticly that it was impossible to know. It was worn down, and because of that so many things became red herrings when they really shouldn't have been. Horrible.
There was pretty much zero flow from puzzle to puzzle. Most of the time when you play escape rooms, puzzles lead to more puzzles which allows you to move forward. This was simply not that way. There were several times that we were not stuck on a puzzle, we just simply did not have any clue what to do next.
Extremely sparce, when I walked in it almost felt like it was just a continuation of the lobby. All that inside the first room was a bench, some pillars, and paintings along the wall that were so worn you could hardly see them.
The gm was very unenthusiastic, and difficult to understand. It was clear that he must have been running several rooms at once which is never good, but there were several times when we believe he missed a trigger, i.e. things would open so late that there is no possible way it could have been automatic, and we would have missed it because we checked everything in one room, went on to the next, and only saw that it opened when we came back to the first.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Extremely cookie cutter, it's about an art thief.
The puzzles themselves were incredibly easy, but so many things were broken that it made some of them near impossible
I only put high tech because there were only a few actual physical locks, but so many things were broken that I don't think it really is.
Multiple things were visually broken, not kept up well, or simply too worn for normal use. On several occasions things would open so late after we solved the puzzle that we thought we solved it wrong and continually got more and more confused. There were also pen marks through the room, leading me to believe previous players marked it up and the company hasn't been able to, or hasn't bothered to clean it. Nothing was said about this.
Physically active
Not at all
Accessibility
Most of the room is accessible but the door to the third room had a lip that was way too tall for anyone in crutches or any variants to get through.
