Who Stole Mona?

This is a single-room escape room, which is usually neglected when friends vote on a room to do. So I went with just my husband and I, and I find it a great room for couples. It's not too hard, in linear timeline, but also nothing is non-brainer. We did puzzles at a pretty steady (slow) pace as my partner is just not the rushing type...We managed to escape with just 8 seconds left!! We had to ask for hints on two of the puzzles, we knew what to do but order was somewhat arbitrary kind of situation. Overall, we enjoyed it and book next one right after your game for 30% off if you're interested!!

It was good, classic escapology room. I LOVED the vibe of the room, they really nailed the art exhibition/museum vibe. I found the puzzles mostly satisfying. There may have been 1 or 2 that needed some logical leaps, or multiple valid solutions, but it didn’t hinder or bother our group too much. For an art heist themed room I also thought they should swap the last puzzle with the 2nd to last puzzle. The really cool heist part was followed by a lower energy puzzle that only one person could do. But that’s my only real complaint here. Had a fun time!

This game was amazing! My team loved the theme and the surprise finale. I’m a big art fan so this room was a must.

The grand finale of this room is phenomenal. Most of the puzzles are a breeze but there’s one that takes elements from all around the room to solve. Can be a bit much compared to the tamer puzzles in the room.

Unfortunately we felt this room was really lacking in puzzle design, game flow and logic. There were several elements we felt were confusing that didn’t need to be, including non-sensical choices for puzzle solutions, odd wording, misleading elements and repetitive themes. Escapology offers some decent rooms however this we felt wasn’t one of them.
