Quest For The Temple of Light

One of the best rooms I've ever done. This is the first room I've done with an actor which was not horror themed that tied in seamlessly. Our game masters were phenomenal. The rooms themselves all had great special effects and flawless technology integration. My only small complaint is what others echoed, which is that the puzzles are fairly simple. However, that did not detract from my enjoyment of the game; it just kept it from being the best game I've done to somewhere in the top 5, which isn't a bad thing at all!

Felt like me & my friends were the stars in our own adventure movie! Top-notch, cinematic-level immersion, AAA+ set design, music, lighting, & special effects - and the puzzles were so much fun! THE KEEPERS OF THE BALANCE is an absolute *must* for escape room fans!!

They really went all out on set design and theatrics! There is so much to love about this game. Our actor was great and we loved how they implemented her throughout the game. My only knock, was feeling that they could ramp up the difficulty of some of their puzzles, or add in a few more. Stunning room though, and cant wait for the next 2!

This is a tough game to rate. On the one hand, the adventure is a blast, the acting was dynamic, and the set design is superior to anything I've seen in 325+ rooms - it's straight out of Universal Studios. On the other, the puzzles ("tasks"?) are so simple that it's barely an escape game at all (or, really, even a game). I love a nice action-adventure, but this isn't quite enough action to be a "live-action video game," not enough acting to be immersive theater and not enough puzzles to be a [good] escape room. I understand pipelining requires a faster pace, but it must be possible to create nondifficult puzzles which are nonetheless still creative and fun (see The Escape Ventures in Florida). At some point, Keepers made the choice to implement puzzles akin to "place X on X" and "see Y, press Y". Perhaps, they wanted to keep their first room more accessible to non-enthusiasts and are holding back their puzzles for game 2? As it stands, it's a must-do for the adventure if you're in the area, but it's also hard to say it's a good escape game. This place has the potential to be a new business model for the industry in the US, which is, until now, lacking the scale achieved by many games in Europe - and was brilliantly executed here by Keepers. Here's to hoping they succeed...and that their future adventures can incorporate better puzzling! I'll definitely be back for their second and third games.

This room is making you mind blown and full of good surprises with great immersive escape room experience. Even the host was perfectly superb with everything that make me and my group enjoying the whole experience.

This is a phenomenal, must-do experience. Building this room must have cost a fortune, and you can see, hear, and feel that money. The sets are epic and lush, the lighting and effects superb, the props detailed and hefty. You can smell the wood when you walk by walls of crates. The spaces are big, fully-realized, and epic. We were agog throughout. The staff were in character from the moment we walked in the door. The experience wasn't flawless-- there were some details we had a hard time making out in dim light, to the point where we brute-forced through all the possible combinations. At one point you receive information that you can't review, so your memory better be up to it. One puzzle could have been designed to provide better affordance toward the proper interaction. But these are minor bumps to smooth out. While there are puzzles, this isn't a puzzle-forward room. It's a cross between interactive theater, a theme park attraction, and an escape room. At one point you receive a newly-forged object, and that object is warm to the touch. That's AMAZING attention to detail. We adored it, and if they actually complete all the rooms they plan (including a 3-hour experience taking up the entire second floor of their very large building), we will definitely be back to do them all.

Loved the idea of an action escape room. Maybe got my expectations too high. It was still an incredible room, but a little less action than I thought it’d be.

Incredible experience all around. Amazing special effects and so much fun. Felt like you were really adventuring through lost civilizations. Highly recommend
