Pirates Of The Dark sea

This was my favorite room at this location. The puzzles were fun. And one puzzle in particular I have never seen done in another escape room.

I really liked this room! Our GM was fun and welcoming. This room was on the easier side so it would be good for beginners, and had one puzzle I’ve never seen in an escape room which was cute! All in all we had fun.

So I will say this was my 80th escape room and it ranks 2nd worst experience of all time. The structure was all over the place, there was no story and the biggest issue is there was a piece that required more force then I would ever expect to be needed in a room. Most of the puzzles were scattered poorly and the fact there was no light source given to us in a dark dark room, was impractical. There was a lot of opportunities to incorporate strong tech, but alas it was 90% lock and key. Very much not what I expected because I have done a lot of rooms in this chain that were well structured, but this one 100% missed the mark. Overall, the experience has made it so I will not return to this location. However the GM was nice, which made it a little more tolerable.

Staff set up game wrong, things did not work correctly escaped prematurely

Room had a few issues, staff didn’t reset everything from previous game. Escaped prematurely due to error to one of the sliding doors.
