56 escape rooms
Not enough people are talking about this room!! It is phenomenal on all counts, and absolutely blew me away. In the 50+ rooms I have done as of writing, this room was unlike any one I’ve done before. If you succeed in your mission, the ending of this room is extraordinary and outstanding—and you get to keep a little bit of it with you after you leave. It is unlike anything I’ve experienced, *especially* from a locally-owned business, and I cannot emphasize how fun and entertaining this room is. I was so impressed and surprised at how cool it was. If you only have time for a few rooms in the area, skip the chains and do these rooms instead! (And yes, they do have merch! A few room-specific things, too!)
Gameplay
The puzzles were so fun, and fit the theme so very well. You do not need to have any music trivia knowledge for this room; they give you everything you need. The signposting for puzzles and what goes with what is spectacular and thoughtfully done.
Atmosphere
This room was clearly made with love, and feels so professionally crafted. There is a lot of care put into it. It is immersive without being overwhelming/overstimulating or cluttered, and captures the vibe and feel of a recording studio very well. The tech and props they have in there are super cool!
Customer service
The owners/GMs Jimmy & Tyson are such amazing people—clearly passionate about not just escape rooms but also about owning an escape room business. They are kind, personable, and accommodating, and are happy to talk about the details and processes of their rooms!
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Fun theme (I’d never seen or done a recording studio themed room before) but the ending alone makes this room an absolute must-do, and guarantees an unforgettable experience
Story
So fun! When doing the room you feel like you have an actual, concrete goal to accomplish; the set helps reinforce the story and that goal is also part of what makes the ending so satisfying
Difficulty
Medium
Tempted to even say Easy, but this room would likely be Medium for players relatively new to escape rooms. The puzzle flow and excellent signposting makes it feel clear and doable. We played as a semi-experienced team of 2 and got out with a little less than 20mins to spare. We did not need to use any hints
Game tech
Mechanical
More of a mix of both, but the ending was high tech. The majority of the puzzles are lock-based, and there were even a few types of locks I hadn’t seen before!
Ideal number of players
2
2-3 is probably a perfect amount. You could maybe even do it with 4, but any more than that would likely feel cramped. This room felt really perfect for (and was very doable with) just a team of 2

Not scary

Accessibility
It’s not a very big room, and it might not be very accessible for deaf or colorblind players
