The de Lille family owned the Bird Apothecary for generations. Well-known for their magic and crafting talents, visitors came from afar to seek advice and magical remedies for all ailments. The apothecary was named after the family’s cherished bird, which they had miraculously kept alive for generations using their magic. In fact, the entire village thrived on the apothecary’s success and reputation—until the bird tragically passed away. Johann de Lille, the family’s youngest descendant and a brilliant alchemist, had been working on an elixir of rebirth—but he failed to finish it in time to save the bird. The de Lille family has since moved on, but it appears some magic still lingers in the abandoned pharmacy. Could this lingering magic be harnessed one final time? Maybe all hope is not yet lost.

Oh my goodness, I’m SO glad we did this room! We were unsure if we wanted to try it with just two of us but we decided to give it a go and it was incredible. The theming is AMAZING! And it’s such a creative storyline. I loved everything about this room and honestly wish I could do it all over again with fresh eyes. Don’t skip this one!

This has quickly become my favorite room I’ve done in a while. So thoughtfully made and kept up. Was super immersive. Even the way that the dm communicated with us kept us in the story. I loved it. Every puzzle delivered. Can’t wait to do the other two rooms.

A small space packed full of varied puzzles and exciting illusions. One tiny puzzle in particular stands out to me as the most charming I’ve ever encountered. More miniatures in escape rooms, please!

Perfect for a group of two! Would be unreasonable to try to cram any more than 4 players into this space.

A climactic reveal didn’t fire properly, which left us a little confused. Once we clarified what was meant to happen, we were able to get it unstuck and proceed without further issues. This did not detract from our experience— we still got a huge kick out of this reveal and the rest of the finale.

As expected from mysstic, quite a strong room. A few really great magical moments. Great for small teams. There were a few frustrating/confusing moments, but these didn’t detract too much from the experience 4/5

The Bird was charming and fun. As they did with Ghost Light, MyssTic has created an endearing game with personality. As others have noted, this is a relatively small space but used so creatively that it doesn’t feel small. The puzzles ranged in level of challenge, but they did make us think through the solves. Highly recommend all three games at this location.

A great escape room that shows that even with a very small footprint you can create a very magical experience. Packs a huge amount of content into a small space. Puzzles flowed together nicely and even though each component was only ever used once, they all thematically felt linked together. We solved it with 3 people with about 15 minutes or so left. There was one puzzle that had a bunch of really fiddly components that was somewhat frustrating, and there was no "distinct introduction" of sorts—the game kind of just starts.
