A good challenge with a large number of puzzles. The story builds upon the events of the first two games (not needed to enjoy this experience). A pretty even mix of combo locks and tech-based puzzles. Fantastic staff. Would recommend!
Gameplay
Lots and lots to do, but you can easily split up for many non-linear sequences. A wide variety of puzzle types. Occasionally struggled finding the start or end point to a couple of puzzles (two were easier for us by starting with the lock itself and working a bit backwards).
Atmosphere
A nice soundtrack and distinct story environments throughout the game. We almost wish the fourth wall added even more to the immersion where the curtains are.

Amber was fantastic and went above and beyond what’s expected of a GM. It was fun chatting with her before and after the game, she gave the perfect hints, and we could tell she’s an enthusiast as well. Thanks Amber!

There's much to do in this room, and I think No.1 escape's hardest and best room. That being said some of the mechanics for the puzzles are a little finicky, but the idea and themes are great! Would recommend a larger group for this, probably something like 6 people!

Tarot themed and chock full of puzzles, we loved this room (and barely finished)! There are story tie-ins to the other two rooms at this location that are delightful Easter eggs (but not necessary to play the room). Great for larger groups. Our GM, Amber, was professional and enthusiastic and really made our experience top 10!

Part 3/3 for the trilogy. This room is beyond words. It takes you back in time to the other two rooms. Going back is the most fun and creepiest thing at the same time. There are alot of props to distract which is what got us. But being able to get out was amazing. P.S. the pictures look at the picture for a good smile

Fortune Teller is the 3rd in the Devlin Trilogy, and this one was by far the best out of the three. Fortune Teller is non-linear in game play and but followed a linear narrative, and everything flowed pretty smoothly. They made good use of the space that they had to immerse you in story. Even though the puzzles were primarily high tech, there was still a good mixture of high tech, gen 1, and lock and key puzzles to complete. One puzzle was a bit of a challenge, but our Game Master did a great job at answering our clarification questions and moving us in the right direction.
Gameplay
The gameplay flowed pretty well with one another. Because this was a non-linear room, there was a lot to do where you could divide and conquer, if you really wanted to, but we did come back together in the end as some puzzles did rely on one another. One puzzle wasn’t working properly, so there was a slight malfunction, but we were able to move forward right after.
Atmosphere
This escape room made you feel immersed in New Orleans. From the set design, the background music, special effects, and the artistry, you were able to focus on the story and the tasks at hand.

It seems like I’m not alone when I say that this room is my favorite part of the trilogy. This room is non-linear, which worked well for a group of our size because we all had something to contribute! There were all sorts of puzzles - lock and key, logic, scavenging, etc. I loved the story line too and the decor! The set design feels very high tech and impressive. Our game master shared with us that Jester’s Revenge used to be their hardest room, but this room superseded that room in terms of difficulty. I would agree with this assessment. We were down to the last five minutes with this room. There was one puzzle at the end that bothers me because there are multiple solutions, although they only accept one solution. Another puzzle also had some red herrings, which could be frustrating. Besides these two puzzle designs specifically, I liked the room overall. If I only had to do one room in this location, I would do this one.

Great way to spend NYE. Enjoyed all three rooms in the series but Fortune teller was definitely the best. Clever props and puzzles, great atmosphere and really loved the passion of the owner, Dave. Glad to hear Battleship will have a new home here as we never got a chance to play.

Mostly solid room with mostly good tech and a decent number of puzzles. But one “puzzle” left a lot to be desired and had unnecessary red herrings that made us spin our wheels needlessly, and another two had finicky tech. So I’m between a 👍 and a ❤️, but rounded up because overall it was a solid room. When the room first opened, the owner told us that even some enthusiasts were taking up to 85 mins to solve this room. When we did it, we were given 65 minutes, but our team of 3 experienced players completed it with 15 minutes left to spare.

Our team has eagerly explored all of No. 1 Escapes’ rooms because they contain such passion and innovation, and The Fortune Teller is one of our favorite escape rooms of all time. Very high tech, well executed puzzles with a good plot that paid homage to the previous rooms in an enjoyable way. Also appreciated the attention to detail in the environment and props. This room was clearly a labor of love. 10/10 experience, will be looking forward to N1E’s future offerings.
