Very novel concept for a room! Highly recommend- quite tough as you have to think and communicate well as a group

The concept is very interesting, I never played a game like this. The atmosphere is pretty cool. The puzzles are fun, but for me it is an issue that oftentimes you just wait for your teammates to do something, and you can't even really see what it is. It would be less of an issue if it weren't as linear.

This was a really cool game - unique setup, cool puzzles, good set, good storyline, and overall fun for our group.

I love this location! They have such great rooms and a lot of innovation. This was the company that had Claustrophobia aka the coffin escape room! Voodoo Lounge is great for two people and it’s a fun linear room. Once you figure out how to get going, you’ll know what to do. It’s also a cheaper room due to the size, but I really enjoyed it!

I’ve played 294 games and built 7 rooms myself that have all 5 star reviews. I’ve played all the other rooms at Number 1 Escape and those were great experiences. Voodoo Lounge…not so much. The design and immersion was good but the puzzle flow needs to be more defined. This could be accomplished by the use of design “nudges” to let players know what they should work on and if solved, which lock or keypad needs to be utilized. We found the experience very frustrating overall because of it. Think “overwhelming red herrings” that seem more like a time killer… this doesn’t add to the gameplay in my opinion. I’ve never asked for so many hints before… and the GM gave a hint one time on a puzzle that had already been solved which tells me they weren’t monitoring properly. I think the game could be improved and has potential to be a great game.

A unique and great way to do an escape room. There were only two of us and we were able to enjoy ourselves and found it challenging enough!

I loved the novelty of this room. It had a really unique mechanism for how you operate in it—I haven’t ever done another room like it! It made maximum use of a small amount of space too! I would highly recommend this for just 2 people, although you can play up to 4 people. But we escaped in 40 minutes without rushing or asking for any clues with just 2 people, so more people would just reduce your time in the room further.

Solid and very unique room! Says 2-4 players but I personally would not do more than 2 people if you are experienced at escape rooms. Puzzles all made sense and great use of space. Had fun and was able to figure out the bonus puzzle too! Would recommend!

Fun novelty game. Very similar to their chained game. Puzzles all made sense but nothing extraordinary. Great use of a small space.

This game was really fun to play with a very interesting mechanic. not too difficult but unique enough to warrant a change in how a team works together. Also, I think the best use of the smallest amount of space possible that i’ve ever seen. Definitely worth a try!
