Unlock! Supernatural Adventures: Ragnarok

It felt like we had to take hints on every other puzzle. It required lots of leaps without sufficient information and you get penalized over and over for getting it slightly wrong. There were parts where even the in game solution was not sufficient to get unstuck and we had to google a solution. Was generally not enjoyable by the end.

This Nordic themed escape game was overall good, but with some messy logic for puzzles. I liked some of the tricks and riddles, especially creative uses for numbers and phones. But other puzzles were a mess. It’s hard to tell what orders are in a sequence. One neat portion uses a feature of smartphones, but it’s not quite clear what’s going on. The entire final stretch lasts too long, and was confusing and not very fun. I’m a little more mixed on this one, even though it had fun story beats and comes in a box with one of the best Unlock! games (Dia Del Muertos).
